Reds player's girlfriend tied up, robbed at Pittsburgh hotel

Featured Replies

Maybe Aroldis tied her up while playing "Cuban Missile Crisis" and forgot to loose her. Housekeeping came in, and voila, a cover up.

One thing to consider....Assuming it really did happen just as described, for those that think it was more than bad luck (ie: "Cuban retribution"), that would mean someone either within the Reds or the hotel they were staying at was in on it. No other way they'd know for sure which room was Aroldis'.

I think it's either is a con artist girlfriend or he's just the most unlucky guy in the world lately.

I'm with Clyde on this one....trouble is following her.....Chapman speeds. She is convenienty robbed while he is at the game. Somebody is playing poor Aroldis in my opinion.

Get a new girlfriend Cuban Missile!

I don't think it's really his GF. I know a girl in Cincinnati that claims to be his GF as well. She posts pictures with him all the time. She even posted on FB that a lot of people were asking if she was OK but it wasn't her that was in the room. I would imagine this girl is nothing more than a one night(series) stand JMO.

They couldn't have been followed? My dad used to sit with us at the visiting team's exit at Riverfront to get autographs. I got my first Ozzie Smith and David Justice autographs after they were mobbed when leaving for their cars, so my dad just followed them to the hotel with us in the family minivan and we got autographs in the lobby. My old man is no private detective, but I don't see it being too hard.

Is this the same "girlfriend" he was supposedly driving to Columbus to pick up?

Now we know why some of his 100+mph fastballs have tailed off to 97/99. :D

Tracey Jones needs to help this guy out by alerting him of which slumpbusters to avoid.

A lot of wild stuff seems to surround Chapman.

Was thinking the exact same thing. Also I've heard Chapman has several "girlfriends" so I wonder where this one land in the pecking order.

While this scenario is indeed weird what is weird about an athlete driving fast in an expensive car?

Now it is being reported that this woman was picked up at police station after questioning by her husband.

Which lady? The lady that was robbed?

I'm not sure what you're saying above.

I found it a little strange they never published her name in any articles.
