PurplePride92
The UNLV story on HBO was indeed very good. Do you think they threw the Duke game?
gametime
My favorite was "Guru of Go" about Paul Westhead and Loyola-Marymount. I tear up every time I watch. The memory of learning that Hank died is one that has stayed with me a long time. I was 12 at the time and for whatever reason that one hit me hard... 85BearsFan
The UNLV story on HBO was indeed very good. Do you think they threw the Duke game? Brother I don't know. But what I do know is they were found in a hotbtub wearing Rolex's and joined in the hottub by a known game fixer and other mobsters and Richard Perry whom was a low budget Frank Rosenthal b.k.a. Sam "Ace" Rothstein from "Casino" So as they say, "If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a darn duck. Or "I can pour syrup on ppo, but it won't taste like pancakes" Or, "If I tell you a duck can pull a truck, then shut the heck up and hook up the duck." And I still think it smells funny. Even Tark knew something was 'off' before the tip of that game. That's very telling.
spindoc
I really liked "the best that never was" about Marcus Dupree. Confirmed some thoughts on Switzer that I had. Dupree was a freak.
NEERFAN
I forgot half of these but I did find the Bartman episode interesting. I honestly didn't know about all the details until I watched. Dupree's was also very good. The hot tub picture took place in '89 so I don't have any idea if they were still friends with Fixer Perry in '91. I did also see a picture of some Vegas players hooping it up in Perry's backyard but I don't know the year of that picture.

It's just not a good look for a team that I believe was the best college basketball team I have seen in my lifetime.
Randy Parker
1. Guru of Go 2. June 17, 1994 3. Fab Five 4. Bartman 5. Reggie Miller vs. Knicks
bugatti
I liked the Bartman one but there was too much Bill Buckner stuff. It was half hour in to the show before the Bartman story ever got going. Two of the bad ones were Straight out of L.A. and the Sports Agent one.
