Besides, why would Stubbs have to worry about getting thrown out stealing in front of Votto when he's never on base? No I have said he is not a good hitter and I know that, however the team was winning and they still have a winning record with him hitting second...In my perfect world this would be lineup...I said weeks ago that I would move Hanigan up in the order somewhere...As far as the lineups that Dusty has run out there there is not much too cheer for, Im just happy when he changes it up...Eventually he will figure it out, maybe...Stubbs had been successful in the 2 hole however I know enough about the Reds to know that it wouldnt last...But I also said I am just happy they are winning...

May 17, 201214 yr Cardinals losing 7-4 Bottom of 7...Lets go Giants... Pretty sad isn't it when we are looking at scores in May and hoping that the Cards lose? The Cards are going to lose games outside the Central division and the Reds need to take advantage of that. The Cards are now 22-17 and 17 of those 22 wins are from within the Central division where they are 17-12. The Reds are only 11-9 in the lowly Central. I just don't see this offense in it's current state being good enough to even win the Central. With Washington seeming like they are indeed to be contended with in the East I don't see a wild card in their future either. I hope Jocketty feels the same way.

Bring up my post on this topic if you guys no so much...I honestly have no clue where I ever proclaimed Stubbs to be some phenomenon...All I said and Im not the only one that said this is Stubbs had been producing better hitting 2nd in front if Votto...I quoted a couple online articles where Stubbs said he is more comfortable and is seeing more quality pitches too hit...I also said if it isnt broke dont fix it and if they continue to win games I will feel the same way, that however doesnt mean that there arent better lineup out there that might produce even more wins...I believe I was the first person to suggest hitting Hanigan either 2nd or cleanup due to his professional at bats, good eye, ability to hit to all fields etc...Many oeople were quick to slam me saying that in a pressure spot in the order he wouldnt be the same hitter and didnt have enough power etc...I have never made it known that I am ahuge Stubbs guy all I said is what many others said in a small sample size he was hittjng better than ever in the 2 spot...Maybe its more of people twisting and interpreting things I say in their own way and not the way they were meant to be...I stick to my word as much the next guy...Some people wanted Stubbs moved a week ago, I seen a team that was winning and thats all I cared about at the time he had been tearing it up for his standards...I knew it would come to end but I have more patience then most so I backed him too see if it was legit or fluke...However I was also the first to suggest giving Hanigan a more important role in the order saying he was the mkst professional at bat not named Votto on the team...Ehh you are the doctor of all things spin, you would spin my words!
