May 15, 201214 yr If it is only an abdominal strain and not an abdominal tear or anything like that he should be healthy enough to play by the time the finals roll around. Pacers have some solid interior play with West and Hibbert. If the Heat can get by the Pacers then I obviously expect them to get by Boston, or Phili who has even less interior play.

Especially if they see a team with a good low post game as you said. My guess is they would move Lebron for defense to try to help out, which would not be good either.

Obviously they are better with the Velociraptor in the lineup. But if Bosh is the difference in the Heat winning the title they were not going to win it anyways.

It is tough for any team to lose one of their main guys, but this is really throwing Miami for a loop. Anytime you lose one of your main guys, especially one of your main offensive guys its going to be tough to get any kind of offensive rhythm going. Miami is looking like a team coming off the lockout with no practice at all, all a result of subtracting Bosh from the lineup and trying to figure out other ways to play. This series is going to end up being a scrap, if Miami can make it out, Bosh needs to be playing going forward, if not its going to be Miami Thrice 0-2.

Him playing may throw them in to "we are just too talented to beat" category, but the problems people keep citing from last night are the same problems they have had all season. Yeah its true Miami needs a banger instead of a finess face up 4 like Bosh, but that still doesn't mean losing him isn't detrimental. Since Miami is so good defensively, they are usually going to beat anyone when they score enough points. You lose Bosh and its going to be hard to make those points up.
May 18, 201214 yr Also Bosh was a 20 and 10 guy for all those years in Toronto when he was the guy. So with double teams and everything else that can be thrown his way he still put up numbers. Although he's not necisarily a 20/10 guy for Miami, he still contributes enough on the boards and more importantly in the scoring column to make a huge impact on the overall team success.
May 21, 201214 yr If Wade and LeBron are required to average 70 points and nearly 30 boards a game indefinitely, those guys will run out of gas by game 2 of the conference finals, if they make it that far.
