May 15, 201214 yr Everyone needs to relax on homer. How many teams have a guy that had 5 QS out of his last 7 from the 4th or 5th guy in their rotation? People still struggle with the fact he was a 1st Rounder and supposed to anchor the Reds staff for many years...However many high draft picks never even sniff the show and if they do it is for a cup of coffee...Bailey has a lot of Big League experience and if you consider him a 4 or 5 starter then he is not all that bad...Sure you expect more from a guy that had the hype surrounding him that he did but nothing is lost it hasnt been a complete waste of a pick...If he can put together number 4 type numbers all year I still think he has the ability to improve and become a solid number 3 starter with a decent shot of peaking into a number 2 type starter...He has the stuff he just needs to gain some confidence amd that could come with a solid campaign this year...Ill never rule anything out with a pitcher that has the kind of stuff that Homer has, I have seen Lohse and Dempster and I know not all hope is lost... Leake is a different story, I have no confidence in him at all and he doesnt have the stuff to build upon either...

May 15, 201214 yr Always happy to see Chris Heisey have a solid game. Keeping my fingers crossed that Dusty gives him another go tonight.
May 15, 201214 yr Braves will win both games. I expect a lot of run for both teams though. Braves pitching has been very inconsistent this year but their offense has remained pretty steady all year.Maybe he/she is still trying to figure out how to edit.

May 15, 201214 yr So will we see Ludwick or Heisey in LF tomorrow? Doing my best to "think" like Dusty here, Ludwick is 2-7 in his career vs. Hudson, while Heisey has never faced him. Based on that, I'd say Ludwick will be given the start. :lol:
