Can't imagine Coach F would actually come out and say that a team wouldn't score a certain amount of points or anything like that. Not really his style. He is usually a " we'll be lucky to stay in it " kinda guy even if they are heavily favored. But I won't say your wrong, just doesn't sound like him.

 

Concerning the LB's. I think there are three starters in place with the fourth to be decided in July. Kephart, Muntz and Kendrick. Not sure who the other LB will be.

 

I especially have a hard time believing he'd say that knowing he was playing Highlands also. Definitely not his style. He probably said, "we'll be lucky to score 14 points on Highlands." I don't see him saying anything crazy like Highlands won't score 14 points on us.

I agree Purple. I find it very hard to belive Coach French would ever say anything like this. IMO he knew what he was getting into before the Lincoln/Highlands game even started.

I am pretty sure he did as well. He didn't make it this far in coaching as a fluke.

It has taken nearly 30 years to be able to root for Boyle, but I'm hoping they have a great season. Boyle D was stong last year, just seemed to play with backs against the wall in the big games. If O can carry their weight this year then I think Boyle can be really good, Boyle County Good!

That we return quality experience at those positions.

It figures that the "softer" my midsection becomes, the softer my heart as well.

Could be an interesting season for BC. Depth is an issue. If the right underclassmen step up they could make a run. LB is gonna be a question. Dawson two seasons ago and Hester this season. Not sure those shoes can get filled.

I have no worries at LB with Muntz, Kephart and Kendrick there.

Trey Yeager on Defense also. On the Oline they return Dakota Brock and Tyler Preston. Yeager and Kendrick also got some Oline starts last year as well and I would expect them to go both ways this year with first year starter Justin Routin. This will be a Sr. led team but lacking depth.

 

I can't believe I forgot Trey Yeager. I feel stupid. Kid has just been a major contributor since his sophomore year. It's obvious I am not in football mode yet. My fault.

 

Yeager was DL MVP at the Lexington NUC combine in May.
