As far as credentials I don't know, but I heard that he was going to be the long-snap coach.

What credentials does David Lennon have?

He was a third/fourth grade coach at Corbin 5-6 years ago.

Whoa Nelly! Just listen to these Corbin Redhound fans. It cracks me up.

Think back about when Whitley Countys best football players were leaving to play at Corbin. The most popular redhound comments was "Whitley coaches are running off the players."

Next thing ya know we got all the Redhound supporters are on here bashing Whitley for making a coaching change. Now what? You want Ysidro and Adams to come to Corbin?

Do we have some Corbin supporters that say Whitley was too hard on Campbell? Should have gave him more time? It was wrong what Whitley did to that poor coach.

I love it!

Who said that Whitley's coaches ran off the two players that transferred to Corbin? I understand why they left when they did and I assure you that they did not feel as though they were "run off".

Most people would feel that Adams and Ysidro would be great additions to any staff, but I can't see Corbin setting up the same type of teaching arrangements that Whitley does for some of their coaches, so I doubt that Adams will be back at Corbin unless it is strictly as a part-time coach.

The political nature of Coach Campbell being let go as coach is the thing that bothers me. I would have hoped that Whitley had moved beyond that.

Long snapper coach? Is that all he does?

IronMan,

we are glad that you love it.I think that you missed the purpose of the thread. We were on a different subject, but since that you have brought it up. As far as the Whitley's 2 best players in the last 20 years (I think not) They would have been good players no doubt. As far as the Campbell situation goes. Anybody with any integrity would not say that love seeing a coach getting fired, or for that matter anybody losing there job.

No, you took that wrong. I am against Campbell being fired. What I love to see is the wishy-washy stuff from the Redhounds. You hate our coach, you love our coach. He stinks, oh now hes good. That is what I love to hear.

Sorry IronMan I misundersttod. I think that 4chs made some good comments. I wish Whitley and there assistants well this coming season.Campbell has made the comment that this will or should I say would have been a very good year.

I am saying that these are negative remarks. They are directed at Whitley Co from a Corbin supporter. No matter what the topic, its always insults toward Whitley Co. Just say something nice for a change. And dont try to invite our coaching staff to Corbin. Thats not INTEGRITY.

When did I invite your coaching staff to Corbin? I believe that I stated that Adams and Ysidro would be welcome additions to any staff.

They way it looks right now, I may have to support both Whitley Co. and Corbin in the future anyway :sssh: , so I guess that I will see you down on Blvd. of Champions.

Adams has made the remarks that he would entertain offers from area schools, but i doubt seriously that he would consider Corbin.Esidro will probably stay on , but i wouldn't doubt if he didn't coach after next season. If Williamsburg could hire him and it not be a lateral move I believe that he would go in a heart beat.

Just wondering 4chs...........i think it is great, but why do have to support both now.

Well, there are a couple of reasons

1. Taxes

2. It's probably better that I not comment on that one yet......................... but Go Bruins!

So true :thumb:

I dont know if they were Whitley's best players going to Corbin, they were pretty good. In the same line of thinking Whitley did not suffer to much from the loss. I know for sure that no coach wants to see players leave, so I doubt if they were ran off.

Ysidro and Adams would be welcome on any staff, great coaches with a extreme amount of integrity and knowledge of the game. The question; Does the new coach want them to stay at Whitley? The Red Storm would only benefit by keeping them on the staff. They both would have know problem finding a coaching position elsewhere.

Coach Campbell is a great football coach and built that program from nothing. I think he should have been able to resign on his terms after what he has done with the program. If he had let some people to close to the program and they led to his demise, as JudgeOne said then shame on them.
