If I'm not mistaken, NCC has the lowest average ACT scores of all of the Catholic schools in NKY? That being said, if they are moving into Fort Thomas and he wants a catholic education, NCC will deliver a great experience to him without a long commute. Good luck to the young man.

On a related note, Any chance of Franzen at QB or are they just going to use his athleticism at various other positions?

 

My thoughts exactly. Franzen may be the best option for NCC at QB. With all due respect to the other two, he is bigger, stronger and would have two years to be the QB.

Sure you arent, it creates a good excuse for why NCC's ACT scores are lower than Brossart's because that is what the thread is all about. Those darn Catholic kids from Newport/Dayton and Bellevue better get their act together I guess.

This is not an excuse it is FACT, and I've seen the numbers. I guess sometimes people aren't willing to accept the truth, no matter how harsh it might be. Is this an intictment on the schools??? the parents??? socio-economics???? But the numbers don't lie.

A buddy of mine emailed me an article last year that listed all of the ACT scores for all of the catholic high schools in Greater Cincinnati..Guess who was at the very bottom????

Are grown men really on here discussing ACT scores. Really? There are many facts that go into an ACT type score. Ask anyone from Beechwood and they will tell you the reason their scores are so high is they have an ACT class that juniors and seniors have to take to prepare them.

Seriously RB and Q you give other HHS people a bad name. I have to say in our community we have some very successful business owners doing very well for themselves that went to the school on the hill. Carlisle, Drees, Neltner, Pangallos, Kroger to just name a few. Get off your little ACT soap box.

My kid goes to BW and they don't have an ACT class that the juniors or seniors have to take. They just have excellent teachers there who teach the ACT content very well. A few teachers do offer an ACT class that is on Sunday's but it's not required for the BW students to take. Matter of fact, it's mostly comprised of parochial kids from CCH, ND, BB, and NCC. Amazing to pay all that money for a private education and then pay some public school teachers to re-educate them on the ACT! Kinda funny actually!!
