In the GRC/Oldham prediction thread you claimed Oldham had size and discipline (to which GRC only had one), now Oldham was slow and unimaginative? Now GRC plays no defense? :confused: Keys for GRC to win this game will be ball control, minimizing turnovers, points off turnovers, and Daniels/Purvis combining to be the X-factor. The hidden factors will be trapping defense, and stopping Eastern's baseline screens. GRC wins this by 5.

From upper arena it looked as if the ball went off the Eastern player as well. This game was all that it was hyped up to be. Great win by Eastern.

What a great of fans from Oldham Co. Met some great folks, and it was a pleasure watching the game with them. Congrats to Oldham for winning the 8th and having a great year. Good win for GRC. Lot's of bright spots as some of the nervousness of playing in Rupp showed. Corey Rogers was just amazing today. (happy Birthday to him). Lots of other great plays and bench support for the Cards!

As stated weeks ago, the best team will prevail out of this tournament and that was GRC. GRC would have brought the same game (with the same results) no matter who they would have played.

I hope GRC will continue to focus on one game at a time because it only gets tougher. As all good fans to, I am sure several thought Mason would win it all after knocking off Clark in the finals. When they made the semi's last year, I thought they were going to win it all. Congrats to the Cards on this big win. It certainly gives them a tremendous amount of momentum going into the first round of the Sweet 16.

So the championship that Mason won last year didn't mean anything when they didn't win state? I think winning this regional means a great deal to a lot of people across the 10th.

Oustanding job by this young man! Will be watching him in the years to come with the Wildcats.
