  5. Congrats GRC! Impressive season opening win!
  6. NCC & Ryle in the final game of the regular season will be a great one.
  7. It was great seeing you last Friday Goldie! I am in agreement with you - hard to get a read on this team. I think Corbin will be a real test for them.
  8. GRC had some bright spots in their scrimmage last Friday Night. I think the key to a GRC win will be pass defense.
  9. 5 - Boyle County 3 - Ryle 3 - Owensboro Catholic 1 - Danville 1 - Bell County 1 - Boyd County 1 - Letcher County Central 1 - Paducah Tilghman 1 - Perry County Central 1 - GRC Tie Breaker: 42
  10. 7-Bell County 5-Boyle County 3-Lexington Christian 2-Tates Creek 1-Western Hills Tiebreaker - Lexington Christian
  11. This is a fantastic book. This is in my top 5 military books of all time.
  12. There are several large grouping tournaments in the coming months. Is there a chance for NDA and NCC to meet up there?
  13. Wish him the best of luck no matter what he decides to do. He was a great coach and mentor to a lot of GRC Players.
  14. I would have loved to watch this game. Sounds like this was a great contest. Perhaps a preview of them both in the State Tourney? I also like that they played the college format of best of 5 games.
  15. I looked through the BGSG Website and couldn't find an updated list. I hadn't heard anything about the Championship Flight. Let me know how NCC turns out.
  16. I was the most impressed with NCC last year out of all the teams I saw play. They were quick, tall, athletic and played great team volleyball.
  17. Louisville Central is going to be tough to beat. (but not impossible this year). IF Mason can get in their groove in week 6 and start rolliong, the will be hard to stop. But Central will be the battle to fight in the final game. while there are some good teams in 3A. I see Mason and Central and the big players
  18. No - not a true surprise, but with the right sequence of events; I can see them walking off with the 3A trophy. (And that is a Clark Co guy saying it)
  19. Clark Co will have talent that can compete for the Regional Title. They will have to jell together from the beginning to get that rythm that great teams have. Pendleton, Montgomery, and what Mason can get to gethere this year will make for an interesting year.
  20. They (Mason) will be the surprise of their class.
  21. Dont they have a new head couch in Mike Murry? He has a great repuation as well as bringing in a great middleschooler to join that program. He has a great resume.
  22. Tryout's should be happening as we speak: - two-a-days and lots of practive coming up. Pre-season favorite are looking to be: Newport Cath Campbell Co St. Patricks Harrison Co Clark Co. Wild Cards would be Deming, Scott and maybe Pendelton Co. and Mason) (this would be my pre-season preakdown for 10th regions playoff. So how does everyone see it fall out. IMO - until someone knocks off NCC (which can be done) they are the champs. I am looking at an agressive schedule and have to throw Clark Co into he mix. The have some great players with playoff experience that could push them to state. Let's hear it from all those that are already tired of talking Highlands football.! And - not to forget from last years regionals. Bad press = bad blood between NCC and GRC.
  23. GRC sent a lot of thier girls in secific camps. Not a lot of team play. However - I know the Bluegrass States Games are coming up. This is a GREAT look into the season for the cental and NKY teams. Can't get the big Catholic teams to come down, but it is a start.
  24. "You hear that, Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability." Agent Smith from The Matrix
