One at a time boys..........one at a time............I believe the surest way to end up on the wrong end to is start countin' then chickens and looking too far into that distant future. I like that initial evaluation by JR....helps to put things into perspective.............tuff row to how no matter what....but Rocks still have a way to go........Friday night showed that........

Earlier in the season I touted the Colts and talked about their fine program and to "hang in there.",, It appears they have turned things around and hopefully can win out..............Good program....good people......

Saw that on the schedule as well.......cannot think of any other teams who scheduled those two --back to back-....:scared:scared:

Thoughts on this game ? Despite their record, PRP still seems to be ranked high.

I think a great deal of credit needs to go out to Butler and all associated with them......for "showing up" and entering the contest against the NO. 1 team in the State. I greatly admire these programs who may be down at present, but nevertheless come to play for all the right reasons.

After attending many a Ballard - T b/ ball game with LSUROCK (and you know how those turned out) he would always yell out......"Wait till October ....(or) Wait till football"...... then he would mumble something like "77-0" .... so I am thinking he will be there Thur. night for sure.........as for last Friday....he must have stepped out for some gumbo............

Good point about not singling out the kids by name. Understandable in this rivalry - but not necessary. I also agree about both perhaps more evenly matched this year (at least in all the pre-game hype). But as we all know...doesnt mean much in THIS ONE....................... GO ROCKS :D

I know the Rock's Staff does not have to resort to sophmoric means to inspire the team......but it may be a nice touch to tape to every locker a photo of the principle in question..........but then again the kids probably do not know who the gentleman is ...................... I concur with tcjbkt...I have to believe they will be fired up and will very much want to get that taste of a loss out of their mouths......and not overlook this team...................:fight:

eXcellenT analysis as usual......I understand the disappointment. Great effort. Have a really hard time "buying" the opinions they were "playing with us.' If that is in fact the case what does that really say about them. All I know is that they were on the ROCKS for awhile. Wonder the last time they trailed by that margin [AT HOME]. Their side of the stadium.....grew awfully quiet in the third quarter and from my seat they looked concerned to me. They are a great team - no dobut. Deserve every accolade they receive. I said before the game that IMHO>>..toughest test ANY ROCK team has ever faced............. If they are honest......they have to admit.....they were in a game....and we did not shirk the challenge. The better team won.....pure and simple...but...we were there..........................

Right you are.................and we are off............I don't think it would be too far off to say (IMHO) that this will be the toughest team / highest ranked/ biggest test/ etc...which the Rocks have ever faced ................... With all due respect to them......I don't think our Coaching Staff can be beat....our kids are top flight....and you know all the rest.... lets tee it up and see what happens..............go Rocks................."They" can say whatever "they" want...but they have to admit....we won't back down from any challenge.......................

IF there is one thing CR is ........is analytical. Plus, I have found ...one would be hard pressed to find someone with a stonger foundation and understanding of football knowledge - as well as a true feel for the game. He scared the hell out of me............................:scared:

Part of our 'success" -- I have to believe ......is not only the motivation - -but also the "type of kid"..we have in our program.........................for proof.....see the letter from the Appreciative DAd after last weeks game. GO ROCKS...............

For me at least.....could be a bit of "whistling past the graveyard." Appreciate all of the kind words and support...esp. from all the good X folk...but it is a bit unusual - for the Rocks - to be picked as such an underdog. We've pulled some out in the past...and hopefully we can again Friday. I would like to think we have remained appropriately humble. I give big credit to the other teams who line up to play us (and are on paper perhaps "overmatched').....so we should be ready to do the same.

Despite their record I think they have alot of promise and I look for good things to come. I have seen several of their games. They are young...but well coached...and play hard. Impressed with their coaching staff and young men. Wish them all the best..........hang in there................they almost upset Doss (playing up several Classes)....beat themselves IMO...by a late penalty while driving in for what might have been the winning score...................Good luck:thumb:
