Good to see that the rumors were not true about Jason Powers! Im pretty sure Coach Campbell had some Black Helmets in his tenure also.

I would say that Lynn Camp and W'burg have about the same amount of tradition. Both our Single A schools and will have a down year occasionally. Both our going to be in the play-offs every year and both our going to battle for the district title most of the time.

Plenty of powerful, fast cars! What about Lebanion? Looking at the Newspaper, it looks like Powers is still a Colonel.

Just going by observations from last year, what was lost and what was gained. The Colonels will return the skill players that account for the majority of the Offense. The O Line lost only one player to graduation. Defensively the Colonels only lost one, maybe two players, but both replaceable. I dont really know what Coach Black is planning, but there are alot of weapons the other teams will need to defend. Hence alot of "cars in the garage". Or maybe I just dont know a thing about what I saw last year?

I think it will be a matter of what car Coach Black decides to drive. Lot of choices in the garage. Protection is not a problem. Only one of those trucks were traded.

Powers is a County born and raised. Jones plays Baseball every year is darn good at it. Whitley has a parking garage full of fast cars.

Plenty of "Ferraris" and "Corvettes" and may have a few "F-150s"

Im not sure who will be playing, but Coach Blacks problem will be where to put all the talent.

Upset in the district, peaking too early????? Yeah he won alot of games with great players, to me it is one of those situations where a good coach just gets out of the way from his players and them play.

I know that Coach Herron teaches the team concept and unselfishness. Certain kids and parents can fit into that, and some cant. Part of Williamsburg success is is base on its team chemistry and love for the school. Coach Herron needs to make sure that it stays intact to continue their success.

Every game for Whitley will be interesting this year if retribution is on their mind. As for Lynn Camp, I believe they will be very good again this year, but it will hard to replace Joe. Their season short of slow down after his injury, dont get me wrong they were still a good football team, but I believe that injury kept them from at least making it to the Semi-Finals.

McCumbers was a decent passer, but wont be missed at all.

Basicly everyone returns for the Colonels. They lost one lineman, and a couple of other players from last year. There will be some kids playing in new positions this year but the kids are basicly the same......except bigger stronger and faster.

Regardless of interpretations of the transfer rule. I do believe that Coach Herron will not put a lot of stock in players that might not be there. I know Coach Herron and he will work with the kids that he can count on to be there in the fall. Most of those kids have been in the Williamsburg School System for a number of years and are true Yellow Jackets. A outsider coming in will have a hard time fitting into the Yellow Jacket fold.

The move before or after a transfer is irrelevant. If the purpose is for athletics then there is a possibility of ineligibilty. As I said earlier.

AND not be transferring for athletic purposes..... if they move for athletic purpsoses, then the bona fide change of address is moot.

Since the district you have seen flashes of what Crawford can do, I think you are right, tonight he breaks out and leads the Hounds to an impressive win, by amargin of 8-10 but the score will be closer than the game as Corbin will dominate from the tip.

35 Turnovers is not basketball.....it volleyball. Both teams turned the ball over with and without pressure. It was not a great display of basketball. Although it was a great display of guts with Lynn Camp outlasting Bell. 35 turnnovers against SL will result in a loss which has not been seen much in region games. South brings more pressure than Bell and plays much better offensively.

Hmmmmm........ Lets see........... Lynn Camp has 35 turnovers against Bell Co South has not had 35 turnovers in their last 4 or 5 games combined.......... Think I will go with Lynn Camp losing this one......South BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Corbin has not reached their potential, simply because they have so much individual talant. They have relied on that talant to win games and have not worked on the finer points such as free throw shooting. When it gets down to the nitty gritty they have more trouble because of things like that tend to mount up on you. Defensivley they tend to be lazy at times letting the ball handler get by them and then trying to back tap they ball away. It works against the lesser teams but better teams are stronger with the ball and it just leads to easy baskets at bad times. More times than not talant will carry you but there have been times like the district championship when they needed to make plays and just did not. Does that mean they can't or won't win the region? Not at all but it does mean they may have a tougher time than a team with less talant who has worked harder to get better.

Could beat the Lady Tigers??? Whitley already has and very handlely, it was not as close as the 10 or so margin.

Why don't you like him. He is a great coach (head and assistant). Although he does not have to have the spot light he gets the job done. He is a WINNER. I not only like the man I respect him as a coach. As a McCreary fan, I would think that you would love to have the man on your sidelines, he is a great coach.

Lewis Morris shows why he is one of the better coaches in SEKY. Congrats to the Bobcats!!
