To me, Rock is the better team. I honestly believe the reason they defeated Knox Central it's because Knox Central had basically given up on the season. Also, Knox Central was never the same team after they lost their RB. I will give Mercer County the respect that is due them by singing the game will be close. However anyone that has played Rockcastle County this season will attest to the fact that in basically every game they have won the line of scrimmage. it is very difficult to be any team that beat you at the line. I agree with one poster on here who said that Rock should win but that Mercer County will get some big plays. MC - 21 Rock - 28

Thoughts? Predictions? Can the Titans come in to Mt. Vernon and steal a win or will the saying hold true: "The Rock is Hard"?

I predicted this Mercer County win because of matchups but I will admit to being surprisingly shocked.

Knox Central has a great run defense and has had Rock's number for nearly a decade. Until Rock can beat Knox, I will always pick Knox even though I am a Rocket fan. However, I think it is a tall order for anyone to predict Knox Central to win District. They would have to go on the road and beat Rock and then turn around the next week and beat Corbin. I think only a handful of teams across the state could pull that off and Knox Central is not one of them. Therefore, I honestly believe that Rock loses this game but still wins district and home field advantage through much of the playoffs.

People laughed when I said Rock should/could have won the PC game. Any doubts now

The crazy part is that if Knox Central beats Rock and wins out, they could create a tiebreaker situation where they could use Waggener and Corbin to their teams beaten list and potentially win the tie break. This is a CLOSE district! Yikes!

Knox Central has no chance at the tie breaker. I've done the math. Wayne and Rock would be close.

Wayne County's win clears the way for AT MINIMUM, a Rockcastle County District Runner-up and a guaranteed home playoff game. Even if Rock loses to Knox Central, Knox Central has no chance of winning the tie breaker because Wayne County and Rockcastle County's wins are much better. I love how competitive this district is every year!

Rock looks so good this season. I kept thinking last season "what if they would have been fully healthy?" Now they are and they look great!

Good win for Bourbon County.

This district is so back-and-forth. There certainly does not seem to be one breakaway team.

Someone can correct me but I believe that Russell County never scored against Rock's full starting unit.

Does Wayne County still leads 20-16 in the 4th?

I do think the score could be a wide margin but Russell County's offense is too good not to score.
