My handy Simon Kenton schedule book lists this game as being played on 2/2,not 2/3.

Tolliver was outstanding. Coach Stowers had an excellent defense game plan. Simon Kenton needs to reduce the number of bad pass turnovers and the traveling calls. If that is reduced I think they will be hard to defeat the rest of the season.

That is the correct score. The KHSAA scoreboard has it backwards.

Thanks for the info. I work nights and did not attend Simon Kenton's 1st game, so I assumed Ponzer was the one taking Tolliver's spot.

Sorry about duplicating malachicrunch's score post. I quess i posted a few minutes after it. I was there for the entire event and enjoyed it all. Hopefully it can continue to get high caliber teams from the south as we saw yesterday. And hopefully get a little more heat in the gym! lol!!! I was feeling a little chilly.

I thought Ali Ponzer done a wonderfull job taking over for Tolliver.

I am excited about the line up of games and team's at this event. I plan on being there for every minute of it. My last game to see was the state tournament final's and i am ready for some b-ball.

Where was this game at?? I did'nt think basketball season started yet.

Are there any starters from Ryle,Boone or Conner who will be attending the new Cooper high school?

Chambers has a foot injury and is in a cast.

Just checked the website roster and noticed Behrens of Boone and Bowling of Beechwood added.

I checked the website and it shows the game is scheduled for april 12th, but when i click on rosters it says coming soon. Does anyone have a roster for this event or know who is going ?

I really respect the girls on the Butler squad. I did not know very much about them, just a northern Ky guy who loves girl's b-ball and decided to attend my 1st sweet 16. When Tia went down, you know the girl's could have folded. They just went out on the floor and got it done.

Tia suffered a cut between the eyebrows late in the morning game,after the staff took care of it and got it bandaged up she seemed fine and returned to the game. In the championship game in the 2nd quarter Tia and a Franklin -Simpson player both hit the floor hard,both shaken up. I was seated right behind the Butler bench and noticed they were looking at her neck and shoulder area and could tell she was in pain. At half time she was helped to the locker room never to return to the floor, and heard some say she was taken to the hospital. Hopefully she is well today and nothing major wrong.

I was at the games tonight. My 1st time ever to a state tournament. I think if the balls that went in and came back out stayed in for Montgomery Co. they would have won this game. It seemed to me they just had no luck with there shots.

I attended last nights game and noticed both Figgins twins on the bench. What is their health status and will they be able to contribute this year?
