  1. I remember when it used to be okay to voice your own opinion. Now, there's too many bleeding heart liberals out there who don't really care themselves, but just want to argue with Republicans. Ah, America.
  2. I couldn't agree more! The man was pure greatness.
  3. And keep on doing it good sir. Some of us appreciate it!
  4. Well I was wondering if he could play a little point guard too. If Hood can get his act together that will certianly help too.
  5. Who's gonna spell Harrow next season should he get in foul trouble? Do we have anyone else that can play a little point gaurd or will we be doomed? I'd hate to have to rely on Beckham or Polson.
  6. Or one could use common sense and realize that there's no way a post like that could've been taken as anything other than a joke.
  7. I agree. That's what the people want. They have the right to choose to be slaves if they so desire.
  8. I'm afraid he's been exposed to the yellow energy from Parallax, much like Peter Sarsgaard in Green Lantern!
  9. In all fairness, I think most of picked HIV to get the better of Magic Johsnon. I predicted an early 3rd round knockoout. I should have known to bet against Magical Johson!
  10. I would go with this one as well, except I would choose D. Anderson as my sixth man. Either way, you can't really go wrong.
  11. I'm going with the 96 team due to depth and there ability to shoot the three. That was one of, if not the, best college team I've ever seen in my lifetime.
  12. How about all the stories of people WITH college degrees that end up flat broke. I would venture to guess that the percentage of those guys are much more than pro atheltes who generally make more money in one year than most of us would in an entire lifetime. In this economy, there's no guarantee that a college degree will get you a job anyway. Then you're stuck with all that debt, and no way to pay it off. But yeah I agree, those guys are crazy for jumping into the NBA after a year of college and making millions upon millions of dollars.
  13. I'd feel pretty comfortable pitting the 96 team up against anyone.
  14. If I'm not mistaken that was Jason Williams, Chris Duhon, Carlos Boozer and Battier I believe was on that team. Maybe Dunleavy Jr., I can't remember.
  15. Yes I should have said not a big of contributer on the 96 team as he was in 97. He did have a heck of a championship game though in 96.
  16. The 96 team played in much tougher SEC conference and blew teams out by a much higher margin of victory, which as you say, was no doubt due to the depth on the bench. The main thing, in my opinion that seperates the two teams, is that the 96 team was a much, much better 3-point shooting team.
  17. Derek Anderson if I'm not mistaken started on this team, as did Walter McCarty. Mercer wasn't that big of a contributer on this team, but besides him you had Jeff Shepard, Wayne Turner, Allen Edwards. A lot of people also forget that most of these guys (just like this team) had to give up a lot of their game for the better of the team. I say the 96 team beats the 12 team, but that's just my opinion. The 96 team had to beat a Tim Duncan led Wake Forest team followed by a Marcus Camby led UMASS team. I think they could've gotten the job done against Anthony Davis as well.
  18. I actually think I would've liked it had it not been so off key. That was what ruined it for me.
  19. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Tommy "Boy" Crean.
  20. I said it as a joke. I assume anyone else who had his name in the list did the same.
  21. You obviously didn't watch Shelby Valley and Ballard in the state championship game. I assure you, Polson is not quicker.
  22. Whatever happened with Duke and that whole Corey Maggette fiasco anyway? Are they still under investigation, cause I never heard of any sort of punishment whatsoever.
