I don't know if you've noticed it or not, but UK hasn't had the best luck at recruiting of late. Don't know how getting rid of Tubby would change that at all.

Depends on a lot of factors. It would be a gamble at best to pick either team, but on this night, I favor Buckhorn in a close one.

I heard a rumor that Tubby was going to be the new defensive coordinator for the UK football program. Again that's just a rumor, but IMO, a very credible one. I wish Tubby the best of luck. For everything he's done for this country and the war on terrorism (at least one would think that from some of these posts), he deserves to be happy and successful.

Why do we kid ourselves. That whole junior class is the most selfish players I've ever seen at UK. Meeks should be playing over Bradley and Crawford both, but for some reason he is not, and for that matter, Perry and Thomas stinks. I just thought I'd throw that last part in there.

Noah isn't good???? That's like saying Orlando Tubby Smith is just a mediocre coach at best.

If he can't get to a FF at UK, what makes you think he can do it at Florida? Just curious.

I can see into the future, and I see Noah being the first every baller to play for both the NBA and WNBA.

It all depends on the post season. If he makes it to the elite eight, he'll be right there next year. Yeah, nevermind, he's gone.

Excellent point. I think Tubby's a good coach, but I definately think it's time for him to get a fresh start somewhere. Better for him and the program.

I agree Hicks all the way. He's without a doubt the best I've seen. Gay is a great player though.

I'll take Billy anytime. He lost a lot last year at this time too, and you seen what happened.

No doubt UK basketball isn't where it once was. Maybe it's Tubby's fault, maybe not. But if you're going to get rid of him, who will Mitch Barnhart hire next. One of his old buddies, as he did for the football program, who up until this season, I'm sure everyone loved. They say he's good friends with Pitt's coach. Where will the UK program be then. Same slow boring style of offense that's in play now. If you're gonna fix the UK basketball program and if you're going to fire Tubby, you may as well fire Barnhart with him, or else we'll be stuck with worse, or just as bad.

That pretty much tells me everything I need to know.
