I heard an 8th region ICON may be coming out of retirement to take the boys basketball job.

There are 2 big schools in the 32nd one of which is Grant what does this have to do with the job.

Have you ever played or shot in that gym it is where jump shooters shots go to die.

They should be OK with that monster JV group who had a win over Scott Co. I don't see how anyone in the 32nd can possibly hope to stay with them.

Did the Refs get together and discuss this call after the game surely one of them would get it right!!! The refs in this game are a joke if they don't have the cojones to get together and get this call right!!!! If I was coach Chalk I might still be in jail after this injustice.

So what your telling me is Walton an A school has been more times than Grant since the redistricting. This seems unreal to me.

How many times have they been in the last 5 years? I really don't know and was wondering.

Just going by size alone SO towers over the smallish GC team. I understand where your coming from WalterSOchak with Gallatins recent run of success but that doesn't diminish the fact that it is small school vs big school.

This may be true but all you have to do is come in second to advance to region play. The district now has 2 A schools and SK shouldn't a school the size of Grant Co. be able to win a district game to advance, especially since SK has been way down the last few years but continues to win in that District.

Did not know that just knew that they had a league that Grant Co. used to play in and was wondering why they did not play this year. Can anyone tell me why the AD's voted them out.

Looked to me like the refs wouldn't let the big from North play the same way that the bigs from Shelby were.

I've seen it happen twice this year and in both instances the fans ejected never cussed or made any threats. I think some of these guys have rabbit ears and are looking to let everyone know it is there show not the kids.

It should be a great game a real "David vs. Goliath"

From my seat I couldn't see what happened at the end of the play but the couple of hundred Simon Kenton fans there were in an uproar when Chambers went down. I like Col. Mike thought he tripped and hit someones knee. The fans sure acted like something happened and were letting the refs know about it.

What was the problem why were they voted out?

If the team playing aginst the stall ball team runs a good pressure in your face man to man instead of some kind of junk D it makes it awful hard to hold the ball at halfcourt.

Enjoyment for who, you. I am pretty sure that when they win a game doing this the players, the fans and the coaches think that it was enjoyable.

I know they used to play in the AAU league with the A schools from Williamstown, Henry, Walton, Owen, Carroll, Trimble, and Gallatin but they did not play this year.

That's right I forgot about the number 1 ranked JV team in Northern Ky. Did any of those boys play in the game last night.

If I was picking a team I would start with Johnson over the rest of those guys.

Gallatin had a 20 pt loss to Owen during the season also but went on to win the next 3 games don't count the Cats out Col. Mike.

I don't know about these 6th region officials I can't believe some of the calls that were made tonight.

This is a boys b-ball thread and if I am not mistaken I was talking about boys basketball.

I agree it looks like of the 64 teams left in the state 2 of them are from the 31st not bad for two all A schools. What happened to SK dominating the 8th Region? I guess they do dominate the 32nd district though.
