The 2-0 win and the loss were both at Montgomery County so home field advantage must have turned them around by 10 runs.

DM their all going to be busy. It takes 9 to play the game. Their all a good group of boys and when they finally come out and play I think they may make some noise

Its true, I also heard that he came in and caught for the bottom of the 8th inning not realizing it was broken.

Even with all the success Bishop Brossart has had in recent years I believe St. Pat is the team to beat.

Finally after losing some close ones the boys pull together to get a win. I was told that Garret Young broke a bone in his wrist after sliding into home.

I read in the Nicholas County paper that Barry Brentz Girls Varsity,Kim Blake Girls asst and freshman, Mike Sowell boys freshman all resigned. As well as Adam Davis Co-AD !?

On another thread about the Frankfort/Deming game one said that Deming must be bad after losing to Frankfort but I think it's Frankfort starting to be good. Good to see a young team start to turn it around.

I agree but the only problem I see with that is when you have to many kids that believe they should be the scorer or go to guy than problems start to occur. I also heard that the Devils may attend a team camp this year. Any word on that?

I think next year will be a down year for this reason: Travis Massey is gone. When he didn't play nobody stepped up to fill his shoes and that was the downfall of the Devils. IMO

Considering they took 11 players, 2 of which are 7th graders they didn't do too bad. They also were missing one of their top pitchers and the other top pitcher threw the night before so he was ineligible. With the numbers they have I believe they hold their own. Mt. Olivet does not have a little league program so most of these boys don't play baseball until they enter the 6th grade. Deming has only had a varsity team for a couple of years, they might go out and get beat every game but as long as they play teams close and give them a run for their money they have nothing to be ashamed of.

Deming is a young team too and they had another game without a couple of starters but both teams sounded very strong considering the youth that they have.

I didn't get to go to this one but I was told it was a pretty good game.

Final Deming led the whole game and went into the top of the 7th with a 3 run lead but 3 straight mistakes by the Devils let Bracken County pull ahead by 1. Workman pitched for the Devils going all 7 innings, striking out 10 and walking 1. He also added a solo homerun. Hamilton pitched for Bracken but came out midway through the game. I'm not sure of the other pitcher they had.

I agree Devilman but hopefully they all have a good year and put some more in the win column
