buckman41ss Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 What happened to the #22 ranked team in the pre-season coaches poll.Bourbon Co?
gchs_uk9 Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 This is a bit surprising. Bourbon won the first game 11-1, but only won 2-0 in the second meeting. I guess Montgomery County, with home field advantage, was able to pull off the third matchup.

The 2-0 win and the loss were both at Montgomery County so home field advantage must have turned them around by 10 runs.
SirMixAlot Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 From what i have seen of them, admittly not a lot, they seem to almost be to laid back of a team and very poorly coached. They just didn't seem fundementally sound.
IndianEagle Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Well from what I have seen of the Montgomery baseball team is that they are better than their record suggests. Whether they are fundamentally sound or not, three hour (at least) practices everyday shows how serious the players and the coaches are about the game.

I believe SirMixAlot was referring to Bourbon Co. IndianEagle.
KIDS FAN Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 He must be because coaching is not something that Montgomery lacks. Coach Combs is an excellent coach.
