I'm reasonably sure that the FBI doesn't care about items such as the coaching situation at Greenup Co. Like maybe catch some terrorists or something....I'm sure the NAACP and the FBI have bigger fish to fry.

knowing as little as we do under the circumstances, there is no way on the Good Lord's green earth that he is going to be rehired to coach b-ball anyway....take the deal, coach the team, and resign....save face and move on. COACH THE TEAM!!!

Can't fire anyone under contract unless specific "rules" have been broken (For instance let's say neglect of duty, endangering a student/athlete, those types of things. You just can't fire someone without a darn good reason)....It's also my understanding that only the principal along with the sight based counsil have the power to hire/fire

"If" he had a deal to coach this team....why did he not take it????? You must be kidding!!! That's all he and the parents want him to do. Why? Why? Why? not take the deal, coach the team? He has to know that he is done at the end of this season....with all the turmoil between him and the Super, he has to know that his tenure is short. Coach the team!!!! How can the parents support a guy who now has turned down what they wanted???

It seems old Jim Bob has been suspended by G.C. administration an additional 15 days (not games)...Should run thru Feb.5th...

I'm pretty sure that GC's Super has more important things to do than worry about the B-ball schedule. I also believe that Coach Hicks has always done most of his scheduling...Betsy Layne (three times), Jackson City (last yr.), Bracken Co, Augusta (twice), Harlan, Corbin Tourney (twice), that's just off the top of my head of over the last couple of years. Oh yeah...dropping out of the EKC when drawing Russell the first round game last year. Yeah... the admin. is scheduling those games.

Greenup should probably leap frog Boyd and Ashland. GC played Russell closer than Ash. and the Boyd situation will play itself out Tues.

1. Russell 2. Rose Hill, Boyd Co., Greenup Co., Elliott Co., Ashland All the #2's are close to Russell. There's just not a HUGE disparity between any of these clubs. Any given night, at any given gym, any of these teams could win. =The question then has to be: Who will step up? Who is going to be willing to challenge Russell? Which of these teams will peak at the exactly right time to be able and accomplish this? Or, will any of them. =That is 16th Region Basketball

Chuck Greenslate for Greenup Co. Chuck has a great radio voice and is very informed about the team and always is the truest of professionals.

The Musketeers seem to be making the adjustments needed during the absense of Coach Jim Bob Hicks. The last two game the Musketeers have given up 43 and 44 back to back. It seems the defense is solid and the offense is always improving every game. Congrats to Coachs Smith and Sutton and all the Musketeer players for keeping the heads up and their noses to the grind stone during all these "distractions". :thumb:

Morgan is a very well coached and disciplined team. But outside of Haney are very inexperienced. Musketeers by 15.
