I agree with you on this. Maddox will be very good this year... but CJ Penny is the shizzle! Penny is THE best player in the 8th this year.

You uptown boys don't ever look south of the Boone County line... My beloved Gallatin County Wildcats are having a tremendous season @ 4-1. I know they are not HHS, or anything even close... But for a 2nd year program they are great!!!:jump: Down here south of the border, we are all partying at the success they are having.:dancingpa

Having coached players for 10 years, I only had 2 injuries that required more than a bandage, or ice. One a broken leg in a game, the other broken arm in practice. Proper technique in football is paramount to keeping youngsters healthy! I am not saying anything against Bracken County coaches or players in any manner. Just observing that this is a high amount of injuries to sustain in any given season. Sounds like some are serious injuries and I hope the youngsters recover completly and quickly!

Gallatin will be in the mix of it all come regionals. Should repeat as district champs, and should make it to Richmond for a 3rd straight year. Not too bad for an 'A' school.:thumb:

I think Gallatin wins by 6. Evarts is a good team, so the game will be fun to watch.

Thanks for the update on how it went down! I agree with you in that you can't tell a kid to stop playing. I figured Frankfort would play the subs in the 2nd half all the way.

Maybe CoachBucket can get on here and help me out a little... I am hoping Frankfort pulled their starters early and let the youngsters mop this one up.

I hate to see the Panthers getting beat like this. Hopefully they can pull it together and get a win or two before the season is done.

Gallatin played w/o Carlton tonight and still won by 24.

I may be wrong on this, but it gives them at least one home game during the playoffs. Gallatin is now 4-1 overall and 2-1 in district play.:thumb: Way to go Gallatin!:banana:

Evarts is coming to Gallatin next Saturday. Gallatin just beat Emminence 30-6 I am gonna go out on a limb by saying the Wildcats will win on Saturday. Gallatin County Wildcats, that is.

No way that Coach Browning lets this thing get that far out of hand. Coming off a big win at Trimble, I hope the Gallatin kids don't under estimate this team. :thumb:

IMO Gallatin County has Nunn and Henson that are hard hitters

If this happens, ND will be looking for a new coach to replace Weiss.

Gallatin County is having great success considering this is there 2nd varsity season. They went 4-4 last year and finished the season stong by wining the last three games. Right now they are 3-1 beating teams that most people thought they had no chance in. I am surprized that they have slipped under the radar from you folks uptown in NKY.

Most of the 7 players they are talking about here have played together for 5 years or more. They are not a selfish bunch, IMO. I think coach Jones will take care of any ego issues that this team may encounter. I imagine that you will see there starting 5 average double digits scoring by seasons end.

I know some of these officials personally and I can tell you they are a class act. :irked:

Let me say TBG, that you are a class act! I appreciate you not being negative and for giving the Gallatin kids their props!! I also hope it works out that there is a rematch.That would be a fun game if it happens!! I'll still take my Cats in that one because they are playing that one at home if it plays out like I think it will.
