Great for Darius Miller. Hopefully he can keep adding to his totals in the 10th Region tournament and possibly in state tournament. He is showing he is the best player in the state! Can't wait to see him play for the Cats!

Good win for the Royals. I think that this was expected, but it is always good to get a W from a cross town foe. I have tremendous respect for the Saints and their players. They are class acts and have great kids, but Mason Co. was just too much tonight. I wish Chris and Nick the best of luck in the future and I hope the Royals keep it rolling on into the Region. GO ROYALS!

Darius Miller is Mr. Basketball. But if anyone thinks that anyone besides Miller, Hopson, or Mack could win it they are crazy.

Great Accomplishment for Owens. Couldn't happen to a better kid. Good luck to him in whatever he does. He is a very special player. Sad he doesn't get to play in regional tournament.

Don't forget about Ronnie Lyons. He is second all time in scoring at Mason Co.

Great Player. He has been so fun to watch.

Because he is a kid and can make his own choices. If he wants to get his college paid for at a smaller school, good for him. If he wants to play for one of the most historic programs in college basketball and have a chance to earn a free education, good for him as well. It is his choice. He knows what is the best situation for him and will make the best choice he knows how.

Everyone needs to chill out. Who cares if he dunked it. This game means nothing. The real season doesn't start until tourney time. Chill out everyone. Both these teams are very good and will make noise in their regions and maybe state tournament as well.

I like alot of the kids on St. Pat's team, but they got a bad draw and I will feel bad for them when they play.

Mason County will be angry and take it out on St. Pat.

Do you all not realize that players read this stuff? You are talking about a kid like that guys. Lets grow up a little bit. Anyone that is 6'7" and can shoot the ball like Trevor could fit on a D-1 roster. He will need to bulk up and work on his ball handling and D, but they keep score for a reason and this kid can flat fill it up. If Gillispie thinks he is good enough to walk on, he will let him walk on. He inherited the walk-on's on this team and I assume he is looking to upgrade the walk-on's as well as the current roster. Trevor Setty would be just that compared to Mills or the number 2 kid who I won't even try to spell his name. If Mark Krebs can make the team, Trevor Setty surely can. Get off his back and don't knock on him if he jumps at this great opportunity if it is presented to him.

Is it just me, or did they blow out a top ten team the last time that they played? Teams have bad games. At least it was in the regular season and not the post season.

You are exactly right. I meant throughout the year though. There are several teams peaking at the right time though. But as we Mason Co. people know all too well, any team can beat any team on any given night.

How easily you forget that Mason Co has beaten two of those "best teams in the state" that you speak of. MC had an off night, but they are still one of the top teams in the state. Mason, Scott Co, Lex Cath, and Bryan Station are by far the 4 best teams in the state and none of them have seperated themselves from the others. Don't be so quick to leave Mason Co. out after a bad night. They are capable of beating any of those teams, night in and night out. They will be back. They are too good not too.

Tough Loss for the Royals. They will bounce back for tournament time though. Hopefully this game will refocus them and make them realize that even though they are a very good team, they are beatable. Good win by Station and GOOD LUCK ROYALS!

Hopson is deserving, but I think Miller is deserving as well. Interesting that there are only two players that are undecided in the game, and Hopson is one of them. It is also surprising that Liggins didnt make it.

So Josh Carrier and Brandon Stockton were the best players in their class in KY? Signing with UK had nothing to do with it?

Darius signed with UK. Unless Hopson does, Miller will win Mr. Basketball. Mack and Hopson and both very good players though and would be deserving to win the award.

Just stop. They deserve a chance. I wish them good luck. All this does is make Mason Co. fans look bad. Our team can win wherever the game is held.

Why do you disagree? You are welcome to your opinion, but you must not have seen him play. He is their best on ball defender hands down. Darius is the most talented play, but seems to take a few plays off on defense every once and awhile. Keith brings it every play and is deceptively strong.
