  1. My wife joked in the first half when UK was down 12, "We have them right where we want them!" ?
  2. On the surface this sounds like a reasonable idea, after all soccer has done a version of this for decades in Europe. What I have no faith in is the ability of the KHSAA to administer this. The biggest questions that I have right off are these...Team A has great two year run and meets the criteria to move up. How long do they stay up at the higher class? If a team moves up, then it only makes sense that one goes down...how will that be decided? For example: Beechwood wins a title and runner-up in 2A and gets bumped to 3A. What process or mechanism is there to put them back in 2A if they are good but not great in 3A. Beechwood will never be considered the worst 3A team and be relegated back to 2A on that basis...so are in 3A from now on?
  3. Back to back Tiger killings...
  4. Wasn't pretty, but a W is always better than a L... I'll take it!
  5. Is the Steelers job easily the best job available?
  6. I guess the only real benefit the individual player gets is it gives them a better chance to earn a "Run Scored" in their stats. It doesn't count as an "Earned Run" against the pitcher, so I don't see that big of an issue with it. I understand a lot of people don't like it and that's fine...I don't see it as a big deal in the regular season.
  7. I heard a rumor that is so crazy that I can't even speculate on it. If it's true there should be some word out shortly.
  8. Two back to back missed FT to open game. Two airball 3's. Lazy ball handling. Lazy footwork on defense. Lack of any heart showing. Can't run a play to get a player open. Can't defend actual offensive plays by the other team. No one can finish through contact. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM IS PLAYING SCARED. I'm normally not very negative on here but this team has broke me.
  9. All these blowouts, must be because too many teams are in the playoffs. Tongue firmly in cheek!
  10. OK hear me out. If IU rolls Miami next week in similar fashion to these last two games, do they started getting included in discussions of some of the best teams ever?
  11. Run the clock, fire up the busses, pee on the campfire...this one is over.
  12. They are just brutally efficient.
  13. Defense was impressive last week, probably won't be quite that good this week though. But D was really tough last week.
  14. Much closer for Hoosiers of course, plus Oregon has been there done that...this is a miracle for Hoosier fans, they are hopping on for the ride.
  15. I love all of the go fast on ice competitions (luge, bobsled, skeleton, downhill, ice racing especially the short races) and the go slow sport (curling) as well as ski jumping. I hate how ski jumping is judged. It shouldn't be "judged" it should just be measured...longest jump wins, no points for form or penalty for jumping too far.
  16. Harbaugh will be hired as soon as he decides to go back to work.
  17. LSU jumped in the Levitt fight late, I'd guess they are the favorite for him.
  18. Great news for the Harris Family and Taylor County Football.
  19. 15 Point Game: #6 Ole Miss 9 Point Game: #1 Indiana
