Austin Hill could end up a canidate for Mr. Basketball I have never spoken to a more level headed and dedicated kid with the talent he has. He didnt play football this year to work on his game and not risk injury. Alot of kids in the 9th region are good basketball players all the kids at HC,CCH,Holmes, but this kid is special I would be really shocked if he isnt the biggest signing for basketball to come out of the 9th region in a long time. Maybe Dickie Beal type and yes Dickie he is as good and if not better than you, but you are still my boy.

Bing is still getting a paycheck for not kicking the ball back out unless he is shooting it from the outside which he can do now.

not sure but I saw that Duran Jefferson and Justin Young was selected by the nkca in the post yesterday. I just dont understand the hype with Duran he had a lack luster year. What was his numbers a QB not very impressed at all.

Holmes was missing maybe the best offensive line they have with Mike Sharp (center on offense and tackle on defense) he was out of town for a wedding.

The Dawgs could hang 50 or more on the Eagles and Im sure the Eagles will score at least 14 Holmes 56 Scott 14

Nice post, a great game on both sides sorry my Dawgs had to go down like that my nephew plays for Holmes and called me after the game and gave me the exact same recount of the ending and it was hard to hear the disapointment in his voice the Dawgs really wanted the win but like I told him they proved they are good enough to play with any of the 4a teams and it was a good bounce back game after the Ryle game.

Any surprises from either side? Did Holmes D putv any pressure on the QB that has been a problem for them this year.

Now that is crazy I promise you Holmes will not lose to Scott this year and as matter of fact I will be in town from San Antonio to see that game. I have a nephew on one side of the ball and a neice that cheers for the other team so It will be a exciting night in Covington.

I agree Holmes is coming off of the bad side of a blow out and SK will not be able to match the Bulldogs speed. I look for DJ and the Holmes defense to really wake and shock some people.

Man you guys arent giving my Dawgs any respect I think the defense will show up this will be Thomas Benton 2nd game back after getting hurt and not playing and this kid is a monster at linebacker. I look for Juicy(Justin Trey) to have a big game as well. The Dawgs shifted the running game to the wedge and moved Sharp to Center last week and seemed to move the ball with Covington and DJ well after that adjustment. I look for Holmes to give the Raiders all they want at home no predicition however.This could be the game of the week in NKY.

The Dawgs are coming off of a strong road win against Conner and I look for this to be a close game with the team making the least amount of mistakes coming out on top hopefuly the guys can bring a W back to Covington.

Well put fballstud06 I have the tape of the Holmes-Holy Cross game and if you sit and watch that and don't have a gripe with the officals in that game you should never question another call in any game. The Bulldogs should be 3-0 going into the bye week and would be sitting at worst 5-6th in the rankings. Was it 2 or 3 touchdowns called back? Im sure they made good calls on all 3 of those call backs. The only one was the clip in the back on Matt Valdez #41.

Dawg I will be up for the SK game and Mike sent me a copy of the HC game, wow the penalties did add up and cost them the game, we could be 3-0 really.
