  1. You guys must be out of your minds. Maile is one if not the best HS athletes from this area of ALL time. Playing 2 varsity sports as a freshman at an Outstanding sports school? Ridiculous, and all the records he has broken as well as the rewards recieved? Still has he not gained the title of a Superstar? I beg to differ.:argue:
  2. His record at Cov Cath is 186 wins and 55 losses
  3. Patrick Vansant for Covington Catholic 3 year starter extremely strong, fast, and smart on the football field. Has talked to schools such as Michigan State and Duke.
  4. Seth Tepe and Chad Shadler for CCH. Shadler is 6'8 260, he's def a force.
  5. Schaefer is a def force on both sides of the ball, he is playing corner currently and looks to be starting on a tough CCH team.
  6. Patrick Vansant from CCH is extremely strong. CCH has numerous strong players coming back, and many younger kids quickly developing.
  7. The former Scott coach (Coach Fisk) will be at CCH coaching Wide recievers, and will be a solid addition for the CCH coaching staff.
  8. What about Thelen from CovCath, Stauffer from Ryle, and Brown from Boone County(heard he might be at Cooper). I think all of these kids have a good chance to get a lot of varsity playing time next year.
  9. I have seen Pittman play for the players and he has improved immensely and will be another great force for Holmes next year.
  10. The reason why he did not play much is because of a broken foot.
  11. Yes I do know, I talked to him about it, and he will be playing with them this weekend.
  12. Give me some sophmores that are good, and could get varsity time. I know Jake Thelen will get some time at Cov Cath. Who from Holmes, New Cath, Newport, Dixie, etc will?
  13. Here are the seeds, 1 Eric Quigley, South Oldham 12 2 Phillip Arndt, Garrard County 12 3 Richard Canelas, Highlands 12 4 Jimmy Roebker, Covington Catholic 10 5 Maks Gold, Kentucky Country Day 10 6 Will Davis, Kentucky Country Day 11 7 Aaron Wicker, DuPont Manual 11 8 Grant Roberts, Tates Creek 10 9-16 Alex Crum, St. Xavier 10 9-16 Dean Tsamas, Henry Clay 10 9-16 Colby Shaw, Lexington Christian Academy 11 9-16 Charlie, Pittard Paducah Tilghman 12 9-16 Brian Bredniak, Lone Oak 11 9-16 Bradley Johnson, Christian Academy – Louisville 11 9-16 Nathan Martin, Lawrence County 11 9-16 Will Apperson, Ballard 11
  14. The semifinals in the tournament are Roebker versus Quigley, and Arndt versus Wicker.
  15. Zeke was held back. There is a kid from St. Joe's, Connor Cleves, who is very athletic. Also Tommy Arnzen from St. Pius.
  16. Some nice talent for CCH will be: RB-Leo Shcafer WR-Alex "Cubby" Connelly CB- Alex Cosby DE- Mitch Wendling LB- Mark Jones
  17. Boone County is going to have no trouble scoring or playing defense. Boone will win with ease. When Cov Cath played against Boone We had chances to score except Thelen was off, and Alex Connely and Connor Maschinot were both coming back from being sick. Hudephol stepped it up defensively and offensively, Alex Connely, and Andrew Schult Both fouled out in the fourth and first overtimes.
  18. Covington Catholic beat St. Henry freshman the other day by thirteen points.
  19. Cov Cath will pull out a victory in all the games. Varsity i think they are going to win 65-62
  20. Hey Albert went to bBessed Sacrement Andrew Armstrong went to Pius then At X and Thelen is playing he is still injured and will not play for another week or so
  21. Watched it again, even funnier the 2nd time around.
  22. For the most part I agree with you. Please note however, that we Catholics are not sacrificing him over and over again, but instead are re-presenting the same single Sacrifice as he commanded us to do. Clearly it would be ridiculous to elevate the Church above the Lord. Lets make sure we see things as they are. The Lord founded the Church. The Church gave us the Bible. The Lord left his authority to his Church, not to a book that had not even been written at the time of Jesus's death. As for only Christians making it to Heaven, what kind of a God would create a person only to condemn him to hell without any chance at salvation? There was a Protestant Revolution because Martin Luther in an effort to correct various abuses determined that he, and not the vicar of Christ, the holder of the keys, knew better. Going directly against Scripture, he privately interpreted the Bible, he changed the wording of Scripture, and he disregarded 1500 years of teaching that had come from the Apostles. In the 1st Letter of Peter, all of us, i.e. fishermen, carpenters, and highly educated people are warned not to privately interpret Scripture. Remember that Scripture itself confirms that the Church is the bulwark of our faith- not the Bible. With all respect, until you understand this point, this discussion is probably fruitless.
  23. Holmes St. Henry Cov Cath Highlands Holmes Cov Cath Cov Cath Jacobs
