How can a kid from a team who gave up 30 points win the defensive award? I just don't get it!

Speaking of bragging I will brag a little about Elliott With 2 seniors Weddington and Lewis 3 freshmen Ethan and Evan Faulkner and Ferguson and the bench of Greene geeting put back and rebounds and Maynard with the free throws and the quickness of some other members of the team and ofcourse ALL of their hard work all season Elliiott Just one more game to win.

Exactly! Ashland fans need to realize that they are not a NCAA D1 program! These are just kids and shouldn't be subject to what was said on the radio or what has been said by a few people here.

Although this game was probably a PK, it was still far from an upset. Elliott is 22-7 (so something) and has a great record in region. Elliott played some great defense and found the open man often (something that has been lacking). Jon Ferguson had a great game with 32, 22 in the second half. Elliott Co. also shot free throws very well (something they have had trouble doing). :dancingpa

:thumb: If McDavid and Weddington do neutralize each other, that could be a favor for Elliott because they have 3 other scorers and a great shooter coming off the bench.

Elliott vs Ashland could very well be the Final. What a matchup.

ECHS needs to get the ball to the player that is hot. They take to Many nonsense shots and miss to many free throws. Be patient and be selective and the shots will fall and Elliott will win. :walk: :walk: :walk:

Pointless to have this subject when you Know they draw. Tomorrow at 9:00. We should know someting by 10:00. If Ellliott has good solid games they can win it all . Good defense and everyone clicking on the floor together and a team !

:laugh: Could not disagree more. Rowan at 2? They have improved but not enough to contend for the region. Ashland is peaking at the right time, but #1? Elliott and Fairview should be 1 and 2 as they were 2 to 4 all year and with.....1 and 2 now being sent home crying, shouldn't that move them up? :argue:
