Besides Somerset, Mercer, Boyle and Lincoln the rest of the regions starting line-ups are going to be full of a bunch of Freshman and Sophmores.

I would say Somerset will be the team to beat. They won the region last year and return most of their team. Mercer Co. and West Jess. will also be very good.

Those four have to be the front runners. It will come down to which one gets drafted the highest.

I think only PRP and Heath will make it back out of that group from last year. There is to many other good teams out there.

I heard J.D. Bussell was now going to coach again at Rockcastle Co. Does anyone know if this is try or is Chris Bishop going to be the head coach?

White uniforms look very good, you just have to keep them clean and replace one every now and then.

Morehead is a good spot for Mathew. He should be able to go in and compete for alot of innings on the mound as a Freshman.

The KHSAA needs to re-look things in football again. There is know way these teams that have 0-10, 1-9, 2-8, and 3-7 records should be making the post season. When you take a team like that and put them up against a good team those are the kind of scores you are going to get. Its bad enough that those teams had to get beat that bad during the regular season, now the KHSAA has them playing that same team and getting beat that bad or alot of the time worse in the play-offs. In most cases niether team wants to play that game a second time

I heard the Hall kid from Somerset hurt his shoulder in football. Does anyone know if that is true or not?

To many bad teams making the play-offs. If you don't at least have a winning record you shouldn't be playing in the post season.

Micheal Evans from Danville. LH 1B-man. Started as a Freshman on a team that got ranked as high as 4th in the state. He is a big kid that can hit.

36 games is enough. To get 36 in a coach is going to have to schedule at leat 40-42 games, with rain outs will still be lucky to get 36 regular season games in. With the rule of not playing four school nights in a row it will be very hard to get 40-42 games scheduled in a eight week season.

Didn't Mercer pick up that game with the Tenn. team just at the last minute? Good thing they did or it sounds like they wouldn't be making the play-offs.

We all kind of know who will be favord (Somerset and Mercer), but who are some of the sleepers? The defending champ and the team favord (Danville) last year lost in the first round of the region.

Without even knowing much about Russellville's team it sound like it will be a tough place to play and watch a ball game. If your Danville!! Still think Danville wins ( 33-14).

Danville!! To go 3-1 with all those young players against a very tough early season schedule is pretty good. By the end of the season those young guys are going to be alot better then they are know. I think it will be hard to beat them.
