I would say it was an upset. Boyle beat Lincoln pretty bad twice during the season.

How goes a number 4 seed (Garrard Co.) get to be the home team over the number one seed (Danville)?

Boyle just wanted to return the beating Danville gave them a couple of weeks ago (24-5) to some one else.

according to Danville's stat-man 7 of his HR's were at home the other 12 on the road.

Danville's Rich Witten. He's 7-0 and has betten some pretty good teams.

How good is St. Mary? Can they win the All A State?

Witten did pitch. I think he had a no-hitter through 5 2/3. I believe he ended up giving up three hits and having nine k's. Durham and Uslin both hit HR's.

Most of the HR's he hit were at the Franklin Co. Inv. Don't know the exact dementions, but an average high school field. Some good teams in that tournament (Franklin Co., E-town, Manual, Trinity, S. Oldham, Ryle, and Danville).

He plays short when he isn't pitching.

Danville plays 5 of the top 12 teams and 9 of the top 20!! Tough schedule for a class a school.

Boyle Co. plays Glascow on the 18 and Clark Co. on the 25. Danville plays New London Ohio on the 17 and the 18.

The final four teams in the region tournament last year were Boyle Co., Mercer Co., Danville, and Garrard Co. None of those teams started more than three seniors!!

Those picture look like a lot of damage was done. If it was done by Lincoln Co., thats pretty BOLD for a team that went 1-22 last year.
