Another good win for the Wildcats to move to 6-1, and lock up second in the district, nice second year for the program. Young kids got major playing time, and are starting to be able to contribute, keep up the hard work.

You really shouldn't be looking forward to a rematch just yet. After all your first round game is with a team that dominated you 29-8 on your home field. I talked with a friend from Trimble last night and sounds to me that Trimble only scored off of Frankfort miscues, and Frankfort came out really flat, well Buckett aleast this year you didn't have to play on a field with grass up to your knees and 6" of standing water.

Hey I was over in your town last night for the vollyball game.

There may be a couple down years, but when the kids coming from the youth league, get into high school, things will take a big up swing. They have strong youth program, support from school system from top down, involved parents, and coaches from high school to 1st-2nd grade teams who are focused on building the program.

Owens offence has been the question all year. And I do agree this may be their last chance at a victory this year. Like Earl, I to believe in karma and I think you can chalk this whole season up to karma for Owen Co.

What say ye? Being a former Rebel I can remember when this game was a very big rivalry, now the the two teams have a combined one win. I never thought I would say it but I think Carroll gets their first win of the season, man that hurts!

Why do you have to get so personal when some one does not agree with you. That does not set a very good example for the children. Others are allowed to voice their thoughts too. Now I am sure you will attack me about some thing.

Jucability, can you explain that could not find in the dictionary. First and for most Bird is a good back and no one has said other wise, so you can remove the chip from your shoulder. Carlton doesnt carry the ball as much because he doesnt need to and I believe the coaching staff likes to run a more balanced attack. If you are calling jucability the ability to aviod tacklers you have not watched to many of his games, and I honestly think he would rather run over them than away from them, not always the best choice but he loves contact. I know you guys are really proud to be winning games but you need to relize there are others just as good, and just as proud. You still have not shown anything that shows they are so far apart, I went to the numbers you guys turn into Khsaa to show they are not that far apart. When they went head to head they have split so where is the big differnce.

These numbers are from KHSAA web site. Bird has 120 carries in 4 games for 1050 yards that is an ave. of 30 carries per game for an ave. of 8.75 per Carlton has 68 carries in 4 games for 539 yards that is an ave. of 17 carries per game for an ave. of 7.9 per. Like I said before you can not compare total yardage when Bird carries the ball almost twist as many times a game. Their per carry ave. is less than 1 yard. They are not as far apart as some people would like to make it sound. Sorry it took so long to get back to you with the actual numbers.

How do you tell a freshman getting to play the hole second half to run down the field and fall down or step out of bounce before you score.

You can not tell your kids to stop playing. Thats when they start getting hurt.

This does insure playoffs they must now beat Bracken to host first round game. I think Carlton was out with some kind of blood infection or something not real sure at this time.

You guys are wasting your time trying to compare the two on numbers. Bird is naturally going to put up much bigger numbers. Bird carries the ball around 30-40 times a game, while Carlton rushes around 20. That alone is going to change total for the season. I thought Welch was the best runner for Carroll. Hate to hear Bird was sick during the Gallatin game, that plus the bad officiating. Hopfully every one will be healthy on both sides for the first round of playoffs.

I see your point, but you also have to relize he does not keep starters in late to run up their stats, or try onside/pouch kicks with big leads like some coaches do. Now if it were me calling the shoots it may be differnt.

I like your math, but you may be alittle high, do you really think Coach Browning would let any game go that far?
