I just received a phone call from Gallatin that this game just ended. The Evarts Wildcats have been sleep walking since halftime of the Pineville game two weeks ago. When they finally wake up they will be 4-3 after the Hazard game this coming week.

Gallatin led 27-0 until Evarts scored twice in the final 4 minutes, the last one with 6 seconds left. Jesse Florence tossed 3 TD passes for the Cats. He also added a TD run. Gallatin is now 5-1 and host Bracken Co. next Friday.

Nice win for the wildcats, second win over a top 20 team I believe.

I knew Evarts would have trouble with Gallatin, but I didnt think it would be Gallatin up 27-0 with 4 minutes left. Good win for the wildcats to go 5-1....congrats to Coach Browning. There is a lot of season left for Coach Canady and Evarts to get the ship righted.
