Islamophobia - Media Driven?
FarBeyondDriven replied to Zoot Soup's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
You seem to be somewhat on the left of the spectrum. I find it odd that Islam is the only religion that those on the left go out of thier way to defend. Islam is the epitomie of intollerance. -
Islamophobia - Media Driven?

You are correct. The teachings of Islam is anything but tolerant or moderate, to think otherwise is foolish. Many Muslims are tolerant folk. The two can be seperated. -

Perhaps you should try reading my post. I said there is no such thing as "moderate Islam". I never mentioned Muslims. -

There is no such thing as moderate Islam. Islam has not needed any help in creating "Islamphobia". -
Walton Verona 29 Gallatin County 28 (OT)
FarBeyondDriven replied to The sarge's topic in KY Football (High School)
Very exciting game down the stretch. Congrats to W-V on the season opening victory. Congrats to Gallatin on a impressive showing for a very young team that features 21 freshman, most of which see significant playing time, including the QB. All TD passes were also caught by freshmen. If that group continues to work hard and develope, they could be a strong contender in their District and Region hopefully down the road. Good luck to both teams. -
Class 1A District 1 Region 4
FarBeyondDriven replied to All In's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
You really did your homework didn't you? Last five seasons look like this: Gallatin 105 wins 45 losses, Frankfort 33 wins 95 losses. In that span, Gallatin has been 8th Region runner up once in 2008 and semi-finalst twice, 2007 and 2010. -
'Burn Quran Day' and outrage to Muslims
FarBeyondDriven replied to MJAlltheWay24's topic in Kentucky / National Politics
If someone wants to burn my bible, I don't really care. They won't have to answer to me. If someone wants to harm me or my family, I won't be having a debate with them, I will defend myself/family/property. -

Have you silenced? You should really get over yourself. -
I generally refrain from discussing the personal matters of minor children on a public forum. That is an affirmitive on the residence change, except not to the W-V school district. The KHSAA could very well rule her eligible, but I would be surprised. Good luck to all involved.

Your provacative schtick is getting tiresome. I assure you that many on this board would agree. -

I realize you consistantly go out of your way to explain moral relativism, but maybe you can see a difference between burning a book and threats of harm. Guess not. -
I assume you mean for the 2011-2012 season? Her chances of being eligable for this season are slim.

14u Sluggers placed 2nd in their pool by going 1 and 1. Scheduled to start double elimination against Texas Peppers tonight 10:30pm.
-
18u Sluggers won the ASA Gold Southern Nationals.
-
Will see you there. Just checked again, 155 teams will venture to the Moline.
-
Last I checked, Louisville Sluggers only KY team going. Over 100 teams total, 31 from California alone. Many folks do not realize the magnitude of the ASA/USA Nationals, as you and i know, it is the big show. If a coach wants exposure for his team/players, ASA/USA Nationals is where the college coaches come to watch. Southern KY Crush qualified I believe, but chose to play in USFA in Panama City. Sluggers will have thier work cut out for them being a very young team comprised of four 12 year olds, five 13 year olds, and three 14 year olds. I have two on the Sluggers myself. Hopefully they are competitive every game. Good luck to the DOOM 95 and DOOM 96 teams in Moline.

"Watching You"- live version, "Sure Know Something", "Detroit Rock City", "Deuce"......Oh you said one. Kind of hard to pick just one from the Kiss catalog.

Hostile toward black issues? You must be referring to the party that tried to block civil rights legislation. I believe it was Robert "Sheets" Byrd and his party. -
The Problem With Tea Partiers

Considering King Skyhook Shamir Shabazz was hanging out at a certian election site in Philadelphia in November 2008 while "encouraging" folks to vote while brandishing a peace "pipe", you could argue that they are a Dem mouthpiece. I don't actually seek this stuff out myself, but I have come across some interesting videos of Shabazz and his cronies. Pretty interesting stuff. That being said, in no way shape or form do I think that these tools represent the Democrat Party or vice versa. As far as I am concerned, the " Old and New Black Panthers" are equal with the Klan in my eyes. -

I do not link Obama voters/supporters to Marxism, socialism, and the other isms. Those voters are just wrong and misinformed. -

If life for black folk in this country is as bad as some race peddlers claim, then maybe they should rethink their voting habits/history.
