  1. Either line up is tough. Just depends on how good Kanter is or Leslie but either will have to be pretty good to beat out Miller the way he is playing this year. But by expectations both will compete for the spot.
  2. Clyde, you remind me of one of those parents that are always hollering at the refs. This poll is kinda like a foul that never got called, if the whistle don't blow, then it never happened.
  3. :thumb: Wouldnt be the first time for an UK game. :thumb::popcorn:
  4. Hate to see anyone get hurt but this will help UK's chances.
  5. I am just going to throw Darrin Horn's name in the mix as no where near a top 5 or 10 but as a top 10-15. I really like what he has done at every program he has been at. I see him as a UK canidate one day in the distant future after he has more time to prove himself.
  6. I love Orton, he reminds me of Jamal Maglore from the Pitino years. Hes rough, tough and will slam you or the ball whenever he feels like it. I liked how he took up for Cousins and I love that he is an intimidation factor every game he comes into. These two complement each other like Maglore and Nazr Mohammed did back in the day. I still love when Maglore rolled over Wolciechowski on ESPN Classic.
  7. It almost makes it that much better if the announcers are rooting againest your team.
  8. I really don't want to see this but if it does someone needs to pay this kid. Thats the most outgoing picks I have heard so far.
  9. I agree. He a role model on and off the floor. But Jon Wall doesn't get technicals or loose his head or run his mouth would also be a good role model. My point is that there are a few more than just PPat even though he is the best example.
  10. I really could care less who is broadcasting the game. More than likely everyone in the nation is rooting for the underdog except UK fans so bring on the boos and we will move on to Indy before to long.
  11. I got a text about this. It said it is a 1 in 13 million chance. Congrats to the kid. He should be either the next president or at least on ESPN prediction.
  12. I think because we care the most just to be honest. Dick Vitle just took UK to win the title but if Cornell scores more points that UK then Cornell will win and UK will not win the title.
  13. I am guessing Hood. I don't see him playing anytime soon and Coach Cal did say he was gonna play him more and never did so if Hood does I could understand. I like Hood and thought he may have a chance at playing some but I understand him not playing with the talent we have at this time.
  14. I have heard of several coaches either not liking Coach Cal or maybe just avoiding Coach Cal. He had Bobby Knight take a cheap shot a UK and Coach Cal and I just heard Jim Boeheim say that he hated agreeing with Coach Cal in a subject but he had to. I kinda like having a coach that is disliked but I mean just to point out Coach Cal anytime you can or take a cheap shot, is Coach Cal that bad? And please post any examples you can think of you have seen this year.
  15. Update on twitter for Orton now says Cuz he didn't know that. He didn't find out he was transferring till about an hour ago....lol I am not quoting him I am just putting down the same information he is. I think that the account is legit because I have been following him for a while. I don't think he is or will transferring but for some reason I think he is thinking about it slightly.
  16. :thumb: I think both need to stay one more year for the experience and to show that they are capable of doing what they are doing without Wall or Cousins by their side. If both went and tried I wouldn't blame them and wish them well even though I am no expert but I believe one more year would help both NBA status especially Orton.
  17. Via Twitter, he is talking about leaving. Just a few minutes ago Orton says that he didn't know how all these people know that I'm transferring. I don't understand why and will miss him if he does but maybe he just don't like the system or Coach Cal or UK or maybe isn't happy or something else. Either way I wish him the best of luck if he does stay or go. I hope he stays.
  18. I think the Texas and Wake Forest will be a good game. I also see the L'ville and California game will be good.
  19. This is a lot of words, obviously I didn't read all of this but I'll give you an "E" for effort.
  20. I have been asked a time or two about a reasonable explanation about a way this could be achieved. A friend and I reasoned through this the other day. 1.) The teams within each district come together and buy a replay system. This system would be used during district tournament only. Reason is that a lot of games played on same day or the system may become an extra toy instead of actually becoming useful. 2.) Each regional referring association is obligated to provide a replay system for each district game. This would mean that each association would have to buy no more than 5 systems per region(one for each separate district tournament). Also the home team of the tournament must provide a person to manage the system during games. The system we were talking about is something as simple as a television hooked up to a camera that is specially placed(preferred from a high position) so that the entire court could be seen as any given time. Such as a wide view of the court. And that the system should have restrictions, such as; only be used in the last five minutes of each half, or last two minutes of each quarter. There are ways that this could be done and done easy but imo it would take a combined effort to actually complete the process. What are everyone's thought about these rough copy ideas?
