I dont think either team is that good but Breathitt did have a good game against hazard but i think it will be awhile before these two teams are considered two of the best in the region.

Knott is a very good team and look good to start the year. Congrats to Knott county

Ill take JAckson City i think they want and need this game more than any game they will play this year. I wont say a score but ill pick the tigers to comoe out victorious.

Who wins this game on December 22nd at Breathitt.

Ill take hazard by 13 look for hollan and Hicks to be a great matchup but i dont think breathitt has someone who can stop Campbell hazard should win this one.

in my recent post i wasnt taking anything from lee just saying jackson missed alot of easy shots and if those shots fell then they would have pulled out the victory. Great game lee county i think its safe to say Kenny Brandenburg is the best Point Guard in the region.

thought jackson would pull this one out... if a few shots would have fell the game would have went the other way. Kilburn and Howard both played good games as well as Watkins and Davidson look for j-city to be a force the rest of the year. You can never count them out. Everybody said they would lose by double digits and they had lee reeling. You cant fight the heart they have and with coach hall at the top they can never go wrong watch out for jackson the rest of the year

The biggest point in the gamne was in the third quarter when watkins kilburn and davidson all three went out with 4 fouls and the tigers put a run together and built a lead and when the three players came back in to start the fourth they put the wolves away. If jackson plays like this every game they could be hard to beat. Congrats to coach hall and the tigers

Are you kidding me jackson and breathitt in my oppinion will be the biggest game rivalry wise this year. Coach hall moving from breathitt to jackson and coach banks taking over. Some of the players dont get along at all and the competion going on over the students will add to the rivalry. To add a little spice to the fire Superintendent arch turner met with the players and coach banks from breathitt and said if they didnt beat jackson this year he would fire banks and cancel the rest of their season. Now thats going to make a great rivalry. Look for this game to be very exciting and look out for jackson city.

Jackson City plays at betsy lane on the 14th of november and they travel to pcc to play in a panarama on the 21st. idk about breathitt

What does anybody think of Jackson City this year? They return two starters and some other experienced players from last years region runner up team

55th District Wolfe- Stevie Evans #3 Senior Breathitt-Justin Hollan,Travis Smith Juniors Jackson City-Drew Davidson Junior Michael Watkins #15 and Dustin Kilburn #21 Seniors Riverside-Brandon Hudson Wolfe didnt do good last year with arguably the two best scorers in the region and now that they are gone i dont see wolfe doing that good this year but evans is a decent player and he will be the leader. Riverside has a new coach and i can see them showing a little improvment but not enough. The big game in this district will be on Dec. 22nd and Breathitt when jackson city plays breathitt. The matchups will be very intriguing in not just the players but the coaches. Look for Hollan and Smith to be big for breathitt but watch out for the three jackson city guys Davidson, Watkins and Kilburn will come out big in this game i believe. They gained alot of experience last year and are hungry for this year to start.
