Should schools be required to report Statistics to the KHSAA
Just wondering, as I sometimes do but why and how so?

Highlands v. Johnson Central (1st Round Predictions)
Highlands best play small ball to get a Bird to cross the plate and then pitch Rom to keep Johnsonville from posting anything but 0-0-0-0-0-0-0 on the scoreboard. HHS will have to play a perfect game with no errors or mental mistakes to win this game. Go Dirty Birds bring the big prize back to NKy, it's been far too long since our Region has won it all!

So how many of the Sweet Sixteen posted stats as were required
BTW anyone who doubts that it is a required report the below has been copied from one of the games where only one team sent in the required stats. Unfortunately, the opposing team hasn't filed the required stats report.

So what punishment? Money out of the taxpayer pockets, as who do you think winds up paying for that fine? Loss of games next year? Firing the AD who didn't make sure his coaches followed the rules? The Coaching staff? People it isn't that hand to do but my complaint isn't with the teams/coaches/AD's but with the KHSAA who put in a rule but hasn't enforced it at all during the season.

I have a link in post #1 for Knox just click on Knox. Information can be found on the KHSAA scoreboard web site.

So how many of the Sweet Sixteen posted stats as were required
Knox has posted 20 games of the 35 they have played. So why not the other 15 games!? Did they pick and choose games to help their players keep their stats high? Don't know but why only 20 of the 35 games?

So how many of the Sweet Sixteen posted stats as were required
To both rjs4470 and Bengal Maniac, then the Commissioner doesn't need to send an email out that says you are required to do this. Pretty simple really, either it is a requirement, or it isn't a requirement. It's The Commissioner's call to make the rule but if he says it's required, then it needs to be followed by all. And thank you RJS for the nice words, I try very hard to do my book fairly to all.

So how many of the Sweet Sixteen posted stats as were required
[h=2]So how many of the Sweet Sixteen posted stats as were required[/h]So how many of the Sweet Sixteen Baseball team still playing in the current KHSAA tourney followed the required rules of posing their team stats. The links will take you to the teams who didn't post, as required. Region 1 McCracken County has 2 Caldwell County has 3 Muhlenberg County has not 4 Franklin-Simpson has 5 Marion County has 6 PRP has 7 Trinity has 8 Simon Kenton has not 9 Highland has 10 George Rogers Clark has not 11 Scott County has not 12 Boyle has compiled 13 Knox Central has not 14 Hazard has 15 Johnson Central has 16 Rowan has Now my question to Mr. Tackett is: So five team didn't comply with your written requirement to post stats to MaxPreps to have then posted to the KHSAA website after each game! So how are they still playing in the KHSAA tourney? So why should anyone post the required stats be it for Football, Basketball or any of the sports that are required to post stats, if indeed there is no penalty if you don't?

Covington Catholic 2017
Sold our home, no longer have a yard, :laugh:but even then was too busy doing stats for CovCath be it Football, Basketball and or Baseball and posting the information to the local news outlets and updating all the information to the KHSAA. Honestly looking forward to our upcoming vacation and dead period and honestly even if I knew who the starting O-line members were, :idunno:I wouldn't be posting such information in June on BGP.

Covington Catholic 2017
WOW you mean CovCath has had three different Head Coaches since that time? WOW! I didn't know that! Thank you for bringing that important information to me, as I had no idea. And to think that you knew that some of the guys on that 2006 team will be nearly 30 years old soon. Darn you're so full of information about CovCath. Again I was totally clueless, even though a few of them I have known since they were in grade school. Then again, FYI, I was working just the other day on updating the CovCath Varsity/JV roster getting it ready with the schedule for the upcoming season prior to my vacation and dead period. Why the snark? Because I gave a straight forward answer? As I said, in 2006 the same thoughts were posted about CovCath O-line as some are doing now. I am quite confident, as I have seen every Frosh and JV games that the incoming 10th and 11th graders along with last years players have played and I am sure that will do a great job, giving AJ and Casey time and room.

Covington Catholic 2017
Really not much worried about the O-line, as I remember very well the 2006 State Championship team, the huge question at about the same time as now then, was the O-line but by the end of the season, that O-Line pf CovCath allowed the offense to run the ball down the throats of the Heralded Bowling Green D-line and put the game out of reach to open up the 3rd quarter. The O-line will be fine. Great job by my guy Dan Heath back then. Oh and who will start on O and D lines, my guess are some CovCath students! :idunno:
