Loaded with weapons and a D1 QB. Big question mark is Oline and Dline.

Absolutely. Colonels have great skill position players. If the line develops watchout!!!

I heard last night they had a big transfer from beechwood. Any truth to that?

Was there any name attached to what you heard, or was it just a "I heard they got a big transfer" rumor?

If ya cant beat em join em I guess....Colonels have beaten the Beechies last couple years and are loaded up in their current Frosh/soph/Jr classes.

I haven't heard anything as of yet, but that doesn't mean a whole hill of beans.

Beechwood had great seasons out of Davis and Castleman last year. Davis is going to be a senior and Castleman will be a junior. Their roster last season also listed Noah Howard, Jacob Sherron, Mitchell Corts, and Joshua Derry as running backs. Howard & Sherron will both be juniors this year, and Corts & Derry will be sophomores.

Any word on which of those is headed to Park Hills? Or are we talking about someone who didn't make the Tiger roster last year?

The kid would probably get more playing time at Beechwood than CovCath this year.

Possibly. C-Mac is definitely going to be the go-to in the backfield as a junior, Grant Dyer will be back as well for his senior year. Anthony Best has graduated, though, and he was competing with those two for playing time in the backfield last season, but still had his fair share of carries.

I was meaning in the fact that a 1A team doesn't have as much depth as a 5A team.

That's definitely the truth. Beechwood is MUCH more likely to find another spot on the field for someone when they have an over-abundance of any one position.

Really not much worried about the O-line, as I remember very well the 2006 State Championship team, the huge question at about the same time as now then, was the O-line but by the end of the season, that O-Line pf CovCath allowed the offense to run the ball down the throats of the Heralded Bowling Green D-line and put the game out of reach to open up the 3rd quarter. The O-line will be fine. Great job by my guy Dan Heath back then.

Oh and who will start on O and D lines, my guess are some CovCath students! :idunno:
