CCH looked really good. NCC had a tough go of things.

 

CCH had 3 touchdowns in their first set of plays on offense and then turned around and scored on a defensive pick-6 when NCC had their first set of plays. NCC struggled to get much of anything going.

Butler will play TE and middle linebacker this year.

Cov Cath and New Cath are going to be scrimmaging on August 11th, and all the proceeds from the gate and from the split-the-pot are going to be given to support Team “B”elieve.

 

Coach Eddie Eviston's brother Brian ("B") is a 1996 New Cath grad - as is Eddie - and the money will be used to support Brian and his family as he battles ALS.

Any reports on how today's intrasquad scrimmage went?

Watched from my new digs. Impressed with the receivers and their ability to catch and hang onto the ball but the kids I believe are looking forward to hitting someone other than their own teammates! :-)

 

Looking forward to Friday night and the scrimmage game between NCC and CovCath and I really hope there is a huge crowd to come out and support
