Tomatoes with a little salt. I'm up to about 3 or 4 a day right now. They give me blisters in my mouth, and my skin breaks out....but it's so worth it. Something to do with the acid according to the doc. Oh well! I'll just continue to torture myself for a few more weeks until they're all gone.
I have no set menu....although I do eat a grilled cheese sandwich and fries from our cafe at least once a week. That's usually my one unhealthy meal of the week. Lately....at least the past several weeks....every meal has included at least one fresh garden tomato. Yummy!
Seems like there are a lack of 10th region games on here. Is this number normal? I'm bummed that they're not playing in northern KY. I was hoping to see Darius Miller play a couple of times.
I'm sure that's the case, especially since PBS holds a much larger crowd. However, for the avid UFC fan, Rich Franklin fighting for the middleweight title in his hometown is huge. It's as big a deal to us as the Bengals playing on Monday Night Football. To each their own.
The last time we went to the UNC game, we paid $100 each for upper level seats in the 3rd or 4th row. We actually expected to pay more. It was so cold that day, when he told us the price, we paid the guy and took our tickets and ran. :thumb:
I would get to Rupp a couple of hours before gametime, and check with the nice gentleman hanging around outside with the "I need tickets" signs. That what we usually do.
I guess I don't understand the need for 75% of his article to be bad-mouthing the state that I live in. Isn't he a sports writer? Shouldn't he be reporting on the Bengals?
Also, I'm annoyed because I feel like the story he told was mostly made up, and only made him sound like a bigger jerk. JMO.
Since when do they stop serving alcohol at 11:00 in Lexington? That was never the case when I lived there. Just wondering.
I played when I was at UK. Loved it! Only one person on our team had ever even played football. Then he got in a fight with the ref and was thrown out of our first game and banned for the season. Most of my teammates were people I went to high school with, and our high school did not have a football team (at the time). Needless to say, we weren't very good.....but we had a lot of fun.
I liked hiking the ball and blocking for the QB. In about our 3rd or 4th game, we had a new guy join the team. He had never played either, but insisted on being allowed to QB. We had to terminate that idea after he tried to go under center on me 3 times.
