If the league allows 3 QBs and the roster expands to 54 for instance, you can mark it down that the number of QBs drafted will increase. That's my point. And you won't know until next year, assuming they decide to make the emergency QB a thing.

That may be true. They may be UDFA's or late round flyers like Purdy. But you will likely have more guys in the fold because some will choose also to carry the traditional arm on the practice squad. Not to mention, many of the aging backup retread QBs are phasing out.

However, it would surprise me if he fell and the middle slots could be where a team trades out and another moves up to grab him, regardless of his poor score. I'd also be shocked if it has any bearing whatsoever on his slot. I still think he will be at the top.
