There aren't to many coaches in the whole state that can.

I would have loved to see Yeagle at Cov Cath or something like that with just as good or more talent. I have always thought Yeagle was a better coach than Dale. Since they aren't in the same Class we will never know this for sure. One other thing I know some people love Bernie Barrie. I know that he lives in Ft. Thomas. One thing for sure is if Bernie was the head coach of Beechwood back in the 90's Lloyd and New Cath would have beat us. The only team he had to beat was Bellevue and Ludlow year in and year out. I know he only beat Cov Cath once. I'm pretty sure that he only beat Pikeville once. Mike was 10-2 or 3 against Lynn Ray. He never did lose to Pikeville one time. I know there are some guys who love Bernie on here. I'm stating facts if he would have been the Head Coach at Beechwood in the 90's there wouldn't have been a dynasty.

Who cares. I was one of the many guys who played on those great Beechwood teams in the 90's. Give us the respect that we deserve. We can't help that Danville and Mayfield weren't in Class A at that point. Danville and Mayfield aren't true Class A teams as well. They have won different titles in 2A and 3A as well. But on the other hand as won all of their titles in 1A. Beechwood is the true king of Class A because they have won all of their titles in Class A. You might be right about we wouldn't have won all of those titles when they were there. Don't give me any stats about when Danville and Mayfield won those titles back then because to me it is blahh blahh.

Did I read this wrong or did I see only 4 teams in each district? Didn't someone say that they will still be 4 teams in the playoffs?

I heard Beechwood will be better next year. I heard that they have a great group of underclassmen. With everyone saying that Yeagle is calling it quits it will be very hard to replace him. If Burnett doesn't want the job from I heard he is probably the choice will Beechwood go outside of the program to look for a coach??? I would think if they did that they could get a great coach because I think with what they have done in the 90's and 2000's this has to be one of the top jobs in the state. What does everyone else think???

If he is done it was fun watching his teams win titles when a lot of people thought they couldn't.

I'm taking New Cath. LCA is a great team don't get me wrong but I'm sure that was a very emotional win for their program. I think it will be hard for them to come back and have back to back games.

One thing is for sure though. If Beechwood opens this up from the outside they will be some great great coaches to apply for this job. With all their tradition this has to be one of the best jobs in the state.

New Cath is a very exposive offense or however you spell it. I think the Breds beat LCA.

I totally agree with you. I got to play under Yeagle during the title run in the 90's. What we did was truly amazing. I think he is the best coach in Nky history. If he isn't the best in the state he is in the top 3.

I have heard the job is basically Burnetts if he wants it. I could be wrong that is what I have been told. If this is not true I would like for them to go outside of the program like Cov Cath did.

Eagleeye thanks for the updates on the Beechwood game tonight. Congrats on a great win for your program. You guys better play your A game against New Cath like I told you on the phone. This team is for real. I really don't know how this Beechwood team beat New Cath.

I talked to some people tonight who said they couldn't wait until the season was over for their family member for Beechwood. It sounded like they didn't even care. My point is if you didn't care what had happened why did you even play the game?? That isn't heresay either. That came from a family member from one of the players tonight.

Yes it was a bad loss for the Tigers. I give all the credit to LCA. Since the playoffs went to 4 teams back in 91 I would say Beechwood's average win over these teams were 42-7.

It might be awesome to you but not Beechwood fans. If all the rumors are true Nky lost the best coach they have ever had. I know people like Owen Hauck but come on now Yeagle is the best in Nky.

Man this stinks. The man is the best coach in Ky history. He shouldn't gone out like this. I have heard someone named the Principal up there wanted him out. The only thing he should lose is his lower gut so he can see something below and beyhond.

So was this the last game for one of the best coaches in state history at the helm?? I have been hearing rumbings and everything else this was his last game.

Well Beechwood is lucky to lose this game because next week against New Cath it would have been worse.
