  1. I would have to say that it will be a tough game for both teams, the defensive predilection of Coach Borchers, and the constant grinding of Coach Eckstein’s offense could make this a very interesting game. Not to mention they are both really good on the other side of the ball. But for the mojo… I’ll stick with the tigers in a close one… Bellevue – 27 Ludlow - 23
  2. I think I think this game will be a real test for Bellevue’s defense. Newport definitely turned the ball over quite a few times, and whether or not those were forced is certainly an area contention. Though I would be remiss if I didn’t say I think that Bellevue has a great defense. I, again, would like to point out that Bellevue has some size that’s been playing for the last three years. Even though a few of those big fellas looked a little tired last week they managed to play the entire game, and make plays all the way until the end. The kids at Bellevue may not always match up size and speed-wise, but have a lot of heart and I think that will prevail in the end. Bellevue-20 Paris - 12
  3. Though I’m still not quite sure what, a “Rudy” is, with Bellevue’s inherent strength on the line (with three returning starters that played on the storied 2005 team). I'll take Bellevue... BHS - 20 NHS - 14
  4. Let me get a few things clear... To start with I have no problem with someone stating that a team will lose, heck I understand that there is little hope for Bellevue to win this game. Secondly, even though I concede my first point, that doesn't mean that I don't get sick of hearing people make constantly make disparaging remarks about a bunch of kids. Don’t forget that’s what they are kids. Thirdly pick whoever you want, but when you do it leave it at that. When you say it once, I get it, everyone does. All I'm saying is, you can pick who you want and I can pick who I want and it doesn't mean you have to tell me how wrong I am and then reemphasize the point by stating your pick five times. And that's what my problem is.
  5. We get it... we all get it... now move on please. We know what your feelings are concerning Ludlow, Bellevue, and Beechwood. But I think we’ve all had enough of all your acrimony towards a group of kids already having a tough year.
  6. I could not agree more... Nathan Ponzer. He had an all around great game and one of the best catches I've ever seen in a football game.
  7. After making predictions about the weather and Bellevue in previous weeks I'm a little leery to do so now, but I still think this can be a hard-fought game and who knows with the right breaks anyone can come out on top. A Bellevue win would definitely make the district and playoff race very interesting.
  8. I could not agree anymore... I think what occurred at Bellevue last year; 9 wins, a co-district championship, and a second-round playoff appearance will help Bellevue's showing in this district rivalry game. Bellevue – 20 Ludlow – 14
  9. I think with the possibility of poor (rainy) weather, this game could very easily turn in Bellevue's favor. In stating that from what I've heard, Indian Hill is much improved in their run defense. I'll take Bellevue in a close one 19 -14
