  1. Im going to take Boone by two touchdowns in this one. Even though SK is said to have a good run defense, I doubt they will be as fast as owensboro. The speed was what caused the rebels so many problems. I see Farris getting back on track with two scores and 180+yards.
  2. Couldn't make it out tonight... Anybody know anything???
  3. Will somebody please remind me of when the last time a 28-20 lead was a legitimate lead to say that other team was padding stats, and the #1's shouldn't have been out there? Doesn't make much sense to me. That's a touchdown and a 2pt conversion. No reason to give up on Mason counties side and definitly no reason to call the charge off from Boone's side. What were Farris's final stats?
  4. I don't blame Boone for keeping their #1's in with 5 min to go. I ask why mason put their #2's in with 5 min to go, and only down 28 to 20 if that was the case?
  5. Boone County LaSalle NCC Dixie Campbell County TB: Boone County
  6. Saint Xavier Highlands Boone County Newport Central Catholic Tiebreaker: 162 pts
  7. Belfry Boone County Madison Central Bell County Bowling Green Dixie Heights Bardstown Campbell County Lafayette Dupont Manual Tiebreaker: 39
  8. I'm not sure what Scott County looks like this year. Any word from the south? How do you all think this one will play out on Saturday night at Papa Johns Stadium? I'm going to go with Boone Co. 35 Scott County 18
  9. The Rebels throwing the ball. . . And for touchdowns!!!!:dancingpa It's Going to be an exciting year in Boone Co. if the Rebels keep this up. Very well balanced offense and the defense was relentless. Great Game boys!!!!:ylsuper:
  10. I hear about the size, speed, and strength of the Beechwood Tigers this year and wonder, are they going to be too much for the Rebels in tonights scrimmage? I think this will be a huge test for the Rebels, and at the same time maybe allow people to see if the can Tigers live up to the expectations everyone has for them. Any thoughts?

  12. I'm interested to see how the camels pan out. Maybe the camels have some talented recievers this year, but none will be as dominate as the Griffin kid. On the other hand if they do have several talented recievers we might see an even more potent passing attack than last year with the camels being able to spread around the production. I also thought Rose was a good ball carrier but he got most of his yards due to the fact that defenses had to play pass before run. If the camels can't get a dominate passing game going like last year i see defenses stopping Rose and making it a long season for the camels. Oh, the preseason...:jump:
  13. I'm going to say Daniel Losack from Boone county. I hear he has been doing very well and could help to open up Boone's passing game...If it ever shows up:thumb:
  14. I think my rebels will be just fine... and the only questionable part about Farris is the stamina, he'll be ready. Don't forget about Bogle and company as well.
  15. Does anyone know the specifics of this rule? It's a full weeks practice isn't it?
  16. Did not one person see or hear anything about this game?????
  17. I also heard during the game that Farris tied a World Series record with 2 triples in the game last night. Last time it was done was in 1986. I watched the beginnings of most of games and i think last night was maile's first appearance. He pinch hit for Farris after his 3-3 with two triples, a single and a walk. Appeared to hit the ball hard, just right at the pitcher who made a great play.
  18. Anything on this scrimmage? How did the rebels look?
  19. Actually, Farris is 500 yards ahead of Alexanders pace going into his senior year. Farris will need a 2,500 yards season to beat the record. The only way this will be possible is if Boone can get two or three games into the playoffs. We'll have to see what happens, could be really close. And I am almost possitive Farris has already commited to the University of Kentucky for baseball.
  20. Just an ugly game for the Rebels. Something like 8 errors. Hopefully they can bounce back today against Dixie, and get some confidence going into their district game vs St. Henry on Wednesday.
  21. Neither Maile or Farris did anything special. I do know that it was very unsportsman like for Maile to approach the field ump after a balk call was made. I believe he should have had a little more class than that and let his coach's take care of whatever they felt was wrong with the call. As for the seniors not playing, I heard that like 100 seniors were suspended or acquired a detention from a senior prank they pulled. The school rule says that they are not allowed to play after serving a detention so i don't think they were even elligable for the night.
  22. I would have to agree, the catch was amazing!!!:jump: Cov Cath was the better team tonight. They hit up and down the line-up, they were far more aggressive at the plate and on the basepaths, and Boone looked to kind of give up after the fourth when the center fielder miss played a fly ball that would have ended the inning. Instead 2 more runs scored and the rebels couldn't fight back after that.
