Can anyone confirm who the softball player was that got injured the other night? I heard about the incident, and it sounded very, very scary! I hope she is doing okay.

Neither team scored after the 4th inning.

Yes and, taking nothing away from the win, but Mason had several out of town with a school function. This should remain a great rivalry between these two teams, as they are both very young. They turn right around and play each other again on April 7.

Middleton was East MVP scoring 22 points, grabbing 8 boards and dishing out 6 assists. Congrats! And the score was 118-114, with West prevailing.

Who are the top teams for next year? Montgomery will still make a run for it all, maybe Clark County too? St. Pat should be decent, and Mason County could prove to be a contender, but I think that their youth will still be a huge factor unless someone steps up as the 3rd definite scorer on the team. What are everyone else's thoughts?

Mason County? I don't know. St. Pat will still be strong, only losing 3 seniors and having a ton of young talent. Mason County still has a lot to prove and a lot of learning to do.

All tied up going into the 4th quarter, but Iroquois outscores Montgomery County 13-4 in the 4th quarter to win the game. Careless turnovers for Montgomery hurt them. They shot about 50% in the game before the 4th quarter, but barely hit anything at all in the 4th. They had a nice run, but are once again knocked out of the state tournament. Best of luck to Iroquois. Adia Mathies is a heck of a player. I believe she finished with 16 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds.

She gets the second. Iroquois has a 7 point lead with about 36 seconds left in the game. Prewitt is fouled as she layed in the shot, but the foul is called on the floor.
