All tied up going into the 4th quarter, but Iroquois outscores Montgomery County 13-4 in the 4th quarter to win the game. Careless turnovers for Montgomery hurt them. They shot about 50% in the game before the 4th quarter, but barely hit anything at all in the 4th. They had a nice run, but are once again knocked out of the state tournament.

 

Best of luck to Iroquois. Adia Mathies is a heck of a player. I believe she finished with 16 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds.

A bunch Izzy Prewitt, Mackenzie Lee, Kayla Webb, Katie Jo Thompson, Brooke Colliver, Emily Shultz!! Never fear they have plenty more to reload with and they are ready and waiting!!!!

I'm leaving Bowling Green a fan of Montgomery. They play hard, play with passion, and are well coached. They have a lot to be proud of.

Iroquois has a very good squad.

It's too bad Bobby Hall had to basically officiate this game by himself. He had no help at all.

Montgomery Co. has nothing to be ashamed of. They are a great team and very classy.

Adia was good as always, but make no mistake...Iroquois would not have made it by Montgomery without their role players. The 5'2 lefty was huge in the 1st half. Montgomery has had a nice run the last 6 years, but it may be someone else's turn to give it a go next year.
