In the past I have seen Chris Lofton at Fleming County games when the Royals werent playing. I would think that if you wanted to be the best you could be, you would want to be in a gym all the time. And he was pretty darn good.

Fleming plays Mason on the 27th, so Im sure they were scouting. Im sure they could scout them everyday and it still wouldnt help them win. As for the coaches, its only 18 miles or so to the Fieldhouse for them as opposed to Elliott Co, Im sure its an hour or so by bus. Im also pretty sure the reason for the cancellation came from the central office.

I wouldnt blame the kids for the cancellation. That falls on the coaches and administration, more likely the superintendent. As far as the players being at the Mason County game, the players always go to Mason games when they get the chance. Ive seen Mason players at Fleming games on their off nights. And the real reason for canceling the game. Fleming can say it was the cold, but the head coach probably didnt want another beating!

I believe the Panthers will have a pretty good season. Alot of players back with experience. Good luck to them.

Brossart handled Deming pretty easily last month. I dont see anything happening different this time.

I am shocked as well. Fleming played well for 32 minutes tonight instead of 18 or 20 minutes. Total team effort.

These 2 teams of Panthers are struggling this year. Augusta is a hard place for visiting teams to get a win. I say Augusta by 2

Im not making excuses for Bracken County, just posting a stat from the game. As for Fleming, Im sure their pressure defense had alot to do with Bracken playing poorly. I believe Robbie Allex led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 14 points.

Chip Clark led the Panthers with 14 points.

The 36 turnovers didnt help the Lady Bears cause any either.

The Saints played without Thompson which limited them. I know that the Devils were without Schalch as well. But as I look back on it, both teams had everyone available in the 1st meeting and Deming won by 4 at St. Pat. I believe Hinson could get more out of the boys from Mt. Olivet than what Johnson gets out of them.

Josh Gray led the Panthers with 18 pts. Robinson and Hughes led Riverside with 8.

She should be paying attention to the game. I mean, how can you miss a free throw?

Well we wont ever get to see it, but I think Deming with Hinson at the helm would win alot more games than they have. Thats just my opinion.

I agree he needs to gain some quickness. :thumb:
