Some of them posted on here that Scott canceled because they couldn't start a game after 7:30. I think it was in the thread when they played Brossart.:idunno:

I think the Harrison fans are upset with Scott for cancelling the game the other night.:popcorn:

It said in the paper today Harrison got the winning run on a hit two walks and then an error.

I guess that would be a way for him to get out of the 11th region. He has not liked it since he had to go there. :lol::lol:

This is what is wrong with BC, the parents trying to run the show all the time. Why would anyone with ties to BC want to try and coach there? I agree their are problems and they start at the top in the administration but letting the parents carry on like they do is beyond me.:popcorn:

All I'm saying is you are ripping on Bracken about not having any talent unless some transfers come in, same can be said about a lot of schools that have had success. Take the transfers off the team and they would not have been as good as they were either. How many transfers did Bracken have on their state championship team? My guess is none, but only a guess.:idunno:

Did he go to school in Augusta or just go down there to play ball in his free time?

I don't think Andrew King was from Augusta,he does live between Brooksville and Augusta though.

I know Pendleton Co. plays all winter or at least through January and they have for years. They play schools in northern KY and some such as Grant and Williamstown. I think the way Bracken does is not good for their kids having such a short time to play.

I have a question. Everyone is commenting on the middle school program at BC. I never understood why they play such a short season. I assume they still do don't they. They used to have to get it over before high school started playing, why I don't know. They should play all winter like the high school and give the kids more time to practice and improve.

I pity whomever gets the job. The administration at BC needs to be replaced to start with. Also the parents try to run every coach off if they think they should be doing something different. If I was a local guy wanting that job I would think twice. You may have to pick up and move if you don't do exactly as some think you should. :deadhorse:

This year was a first time thing for everyone involved including BOK. They guaranteed the 4375 up front. The 5000 is not guaranteed at Mason is it? The BOK maybe could have paid more but they had no idea how attendance would be. If it is there again maybe they will pay more. I don't know if Mason would have paid out 5000 this year either and know one else does. I heard from someone involved that the BOK came out with money in their pocket after everything was over so now they know how they stand for future tournaments.

It was announced at the game being over 18k at the finals on Sat. nite. Also said it was the most attended tournament since 91 or 92.
