Devilman

Kelsey Carmack she is currently a freshman at Midway, after beginning on the Jv team, she has recently moved up to the Varsity Squad. Way to to Kelsey I know your parents, friends, school, and the community of the Big M.O. are proud of you. Felicia Fryman is a Sophmore is playing at the University of Pikeville's Jv team. Congrats cousin. You made us proud.

Deming jumped out to a 16-7 Lead in the first period but the Lady cats fought back to take the lead in the last 2 mi. of the 1st frame and didn't relinquish the lead thru the resrt of the contest.

Deming: 12 0 9 14 St.Pat: 17 10 11 20 Looks like 2nd quarter killed us. St.Pat: Brant 2, McKay 11, Applegate 7, C. Jodrey 19, D.McCall 7, B. Jodrey 2, J.McCall 2, Kellerman 0, Bauer 0, Pan 0. Deming: Cooper 11, Edwards 5, Grigson 3, Humphries 0, Courtney 0, Murphy 8, Burns 6, McCloud 2. St.Pat: 3-2 Deming: 0-4

N.C.

To have only 6 players you goin' to see them tire easily and such, but I believe if they pressure their teams more by going after the ball and putting the press on is the kinda of game I like to see, maybe do that interminatley during the game, let it come to them.

Hmm, not much offense. Things are gonna have to turn around or it is gonna be a long season.

Lady Devils are 0-2.

Don't why there isn't anymore of it.

For those of you interested, Augusta has a video and audio rebroadcast of the game on Augusta's website, Anyone from A-town care to give more info I'm looking at it know, I for one like it, And I am not from Augusta. The first 11 min. of video is all.

I was at the game, Bach scored 14 of his 17pts. in the first half. Augusta is deep and physical. Too many miscues for Deming to overcome. To many men left open down low, turnovers hurt us.

I know, I've been practicing to type Robertson County Black Devils instead of Deming, still can't avoid the mistakes.

Mid- January we will be moving to the new Robertson County High School. This is the last season that we will here about a team called Deming.

I don't think there's a need to put a prediction thread on here, let's just use this one, we can use it as such. I say Deming by 4.

The Lady Colonals beat a young Deming squad in the last of the homeopeners at Deming. Bourbon County: Deming: Sparks 7 Hesler 3 Chenault 13 Smithers 6 Sims 24 Mitchell 12 Byars 8 Fryman 8 Highlander 8 Thomas 7 Rankin 3 Hubbard 2 Stamper 9 Mason 2 Daniels 1 Garza 0 Arnold 0 Machal 0 Bourbon was just bigger and deeper than the Lady Devils, Asia Sims is a quality player. They'll beat alot of teams this season.

As I too wish them the best.

Yeah it's gonna be a long hard haul for them, not just tonight but for the season.

Just to remind everyone they are: Krista Smithers, Senior Lacy Mitchell, Sophmore Madison Fryman, 8th grader Althea Thomas, 8th grader. B. Hubbard, 8th grader B. Hesler, 8th grader The things they will have to avoid is fouls, sickness, & injuries.

6 players will take to the floor tonight, the first of lasts for both our teams for Deming. Your thoughts?

Sadly it's the last of "Deming" home openers vs. Augusta, what a history between these 2 schools emotions I know will be high, the Panthers are our fellow former 38th District team from the old district. Lot of good games played between us and lot of memories, and new ones will be made I'm sure. Your thoughts?

That's been typical of all the teams.

Went to the Black and White game last night, they looked pretty good they havew some new faces, along with some we remeber, Humphries boy is really an athlelete that is fun to watch, he did some flips over 1,2, 3 of his teamates last night and looks to get some playing time, A. Fooks has improved his game hitting 3 treys in a row. Dawson Cooper looks like he's ready, D. Edwards has a great looking outside 3pt shot that looks pretty sweet. Tyler Burns is quick little guard that may give a few opposing players fits.

Went to watch the Lady Devils at the Black/White game, they scrimmaged the Freshman team, they looked ok but with out any reserves it could be tough on them, but like last year, they just might rise to the challenge.

Season hasn't started yet and we have 2 players down. Justin Pilosky(Johnathen's brother) is down 2-4 wks with a high ankle sprain he started a few last season games and the 38th District Tournament. D.Hesler with a knee injury.

Who knows might happen.

Sadly we will have to go to the courts with only 6 players, may well be a long season. If someone gets sick or hurt it'll be even tougher. I wish them and Coach Mitchell luck. If during the games foul trouble could also be a problem. I still wish them the best.
