Retuning is a good group of young ladies they endured alot as a team, even having to play with just 6 players a season ago. Lacy Mitchell has alot of varsity experience, Newcomer K. Saner is a welcome addition, Madison Fryman, Alteha Thomas, B. Hesler have endured a bulk of the trying times.

After a better season I believe it might be a rebuilding year next season. Returning is Dawson Cooper, the only starter for varsity, then go to Myles Murphy, and then the spots are up for grabs. Your thoughts?

Little surprised by them letting Coach Persinger go. You have what you got to work with and think he's done a heck of a job. Wonder if RCHS had trhe powers that be over here and see what would happen. Not saying I would like to see Coach Brown gone or anything like that.

Not to bring up any sore memories or a can of worms, but I remeber back when we played Augusta and they had a player by the name of Brian Kirk, that sewpt the regular season with the Devils and the Black Devils beat them in the 39th District Tournament so maybe lightening will strike twice.

Bigger things for these Young ladies from RCHS next season everyone should be back. After suffering a season with onky 6 players to comeback with a better season, the addition of the Saner girl has been a welcome surprise this season and would think bigger and better things for this team next season.:dancingpa

Her Dad Joe played basketball for the Devils, as well as being a star baseball player that went onto play for the Milwaukee Brewers farm club, as well as her mom Lisa(Miller) Mitchell, also her sis Jessica of whom both was on the 38th District Championship team a season ago.

She was also the last player from Deming to do so, but since then the school is now Robertson County.

Congrats to Lacy Mitchell for named to all 38th District team and honorable mentioned 10th region,Mitchell averages 16pts. per game and got her 1,000 pt against Nicholas County this past season, She will be Junior next year, also plays Volleyball.

Yes they do, that's a given on their academics.

What school a athlete goes too won't get you looks from colleges it's how the player performs and the Coach and officals try to help promote his talents. transferring just shows you don't finish anything, and likely be viewed as someone that will leave if things don't go their way. JMO.

Actually met Loretta "Hot Lips" Switt in Indianapolis at a some kind of event. She was very sweet and pleasant enjoyed meeting her.

As Like I said I'm not a fan of MC but this stuff in the paper called HOW YOU SEE IT, just couldn't believe someone would berate one of the regions best coaches. They should accept that Augusta was the better team that night and get over it.
