Somerset stops Hazard on a 4th and 2 from their 19. Jumpers ball.

Hazard runs the kickoff back to the Jumpers 40. The kick coverage teams for both teams are lacking tonight.

Hazard gains nothing on 3 plays. Tate Madden picks up the punt on a bounce, dodges a couple of tackles and takes it 55 yards up the middle for a touchdown. Hazard was trying to run their field goal defense on late and gets flagged for it. Somerset then goes for 2 and Austin runs it in. 17-10 Somerset.

Hazard is winning the battle up front. Blair is small but fearless at quarterback. Nice player. Somerset looks to be a little bit faster but is struggling throwing the ball. Sherron is just not getting time to find anyone.

Chance Stayton with a great kickoff return for a touchdown. He started on the visitor's sideline, brought it all the way across the field and got the corner off of a great block by Ellison, dodged some traffic when he cut it up and went about 80-85 yards. There was a bad snap on the extra point and it bounced off the crossbar. 10-9 Hazard.

That's the first time all night that Somerset has been more physical than the Bulldogs.

Somerset had him wrapped up and didn't stop on the whistle. They took the running back all the way to the ground and got a personal foul.

I'm not sure and not completely sure of Grundy's status. But I can't imagine they'd risk him before district games.
