I'd like to see Apollo take it but my head tells me that J'Town will win by 6-10. DAVE

I haven't seen too much high school basketball this year (busy with our prep team at MMI) but the better players I have seen, in order are: Crutcher (PRP) Slaughter (Shelby County) Elliott (Pendleton County) Allen (South Laurel) Knowles (Clark County) These are just from performances I have seen. In no way am I proposing that these guys may even be in the running for Mr Basketball. Just my humble opinion. DAVE

Why will it make the state angry? Haven't all the schools had the same chance to move forward? J'Town and PRP (if they get there) will have deserved it as much as anyone. This all just goes to show that rankings mean absolutely nothing come tourney time. If it is an all L'Ville final - so be it. It's up to the rest of the state to catch them. Also, as already pointed out, it has been nigh on 30 years since it last happened, so it's not exactly a dynasty we have going on. Just my twopennorth! DAVE

Shelby County looked good, as did Mason County. PRP sounded pretty solid via the internet feed. Apollo played very well as a team and probably implemented their gameplan to perfection in knocking out CovCath. DAVE

PRP move on while Boyle County head home. PRP against Madison Central could be interesting. DAVE

Thanks, this is the kind of answer I was looking for. As a person who is obviously not Kentucky raised I tend to learn about my home state by asking questions. Your response has raised another: Is CC a boys only school and thus the reason for NDA to provide cheerleaders in the past? DAVE
