No disrespect at all to Chuck or Matt. Both men are very good at what they do, but its a shame that others are holding them back. I personally know that scores have been called in and not posted in the paper. What kind of service is this? I was thinking about subscribing to the Ledger for this basketball season, glad I didnt now. I would be very disappointed. This has been a paper in circulation and if things dont change it will be out quick. I have heard of several people locally that are going to cancel their subscriptions.

I think St. Pat is the better of the two teams. Do I think they are 20 points better, no! But they proved tonight they were better. Do I think Augusta could beat them if they drew them in the district? Sure I do. But when it comes down to it, St. Patrick is the better team and tonight they proved it. You are 100% right... Deming missed a lot of opportunities the first few minutes of the game too. Nice game by the Kings.. I felt they were the two best players on the floor.

I can tell you this, I bet after the last two years in the district tournament St. Patrick never overlooks Augusta. They can say what they want, but I think that was the problem the last two years. People constantly overlook Augusta. Never underestimate the pride the Panthers play with. St. Pat is a very good team and I believe them to be playing better than any other class A team right now, but you can throw that out the window as tournament time is hear. Coach Hinson is a personal friend of mine and Coach Kelsch is my brother, so as of right now I will not predict the outcome. Being a basketball fan I just hope its a good hard fought battle.

If I am not mistaken the last two years the Saints were on their way to the 10th Region until they ran into Augusta. Well, in order for them to advance in the ALL A they have to get the thorn (Augusta) out of their side. I can tell you this... They are in for another dog fight. Congrats to Coach Hinson and his players for not quitting tonight. They showed the necessary heart to win this game.
